Things I like about it,

- Lots of car set up options
- decent car physics
- fact it based on a real race series
- nice, , not "jaw dropping eye candy", but still nice graphics
- large and active mod community
- fun and interesting racing

I go with manual.

I find it helps (at least for me it does) with some of the drifting events.
The engine braking also feels better than with auto.

I am new to NFS games, (came over from GTR2 where you definitely need a wheel). I have tried Carbon with both a wheel (Momo) and a game pad (Logitech Rumble). Like the wheel more because of the better control I have over acceleration, braking and shifting. To me steering also feels much more comfort...

Just turn the music off and listen to the rumble of the engine and the squeal of your tires, that’s the best music there is…

Skyline to win races, 240 because it is alot fun to drive.
