Most likely because by the time he gets to the 1/2 mile (when running a 1/4 mile) he's already running at top speed which considerably reduces the time it takes to run another 1/2 mile.
I said all this just to find an explanation cause i agree it looks weird when you read it lol.

Re: drag and tuning tips
All sound advice, but the key is to have "only" stage 2 suspension. Stage 3/4 will wheelie with high hp no matter how you set it up. Well this sounds promising. I will try it tonight as soon as i get back from the office. I sure hope that i can avoid those damn wheelies that are making my...

Re: drag and tuning tips

However im still trying to get someone's advice on how to avoid the wheelies at the start, cause thats k...

Re: rɘact server?
I believe there was a thread about our EA usernames somewhere in the forums. Ill check it out to see if i can find it.
On the other hand i am very possitive that there is a Thread about an Xfire clan. If you guys dont use X-fire then i would recommend it to keep in touch with other players.

Re: 1/4 mile times
I've a friend who mades 6,98 with a GT500 (new model). I will ask about changes in that car to know it better. Yeah, one tenth of a second is something reasonable, but what i was referring to was someone that said he made 6,60 or something similar. Thats almost five tenths of a second in a race whe...

Re: 1/4 mile times
Yeah i always left my NO2 for the end, but i noticed that in certain tracks my using the NO2 in 4th helped me a lot to get better times. On the most difficult trackslike the ones with a little uphill road at the end, then i find it difficult hitting the NO2 in 4th or 3rd gear cause normally it happe...

Re: 1/4 mile times
My best time so far is 7,11 and it was achieved through a Max grip and almost perfectly gear changing run.
The track helped a lot. Just a straight line with no ups and downs and a green light to help you on the start.
Im riding a 67´Camaro SS with 648bhp.

It happens to me too but only hen i use the NO2. I havent found anything i can do about it, just shoot my NO2 at 5th gear and it usually stays steady, however if you want to make a very good time then you must risk it and shoot your NO2 earlier than 5th. The way i see it is: "shiznit happens .....
