Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning

Ok, at the risk of sounding really dumb, I'm gonna ask anyway.

What's the trick to holding long Wheelies? I can't seem to do them consistently.

Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning

Here's a little tip on drag suspension tuning. I just thought to apply a little real world tuning tricks to see if they'd work in the game with mixed results. If the card is FWD, stiffen the rear suspension and soften the front. The logic is that all the weight transfers to the rear of a car during ...

For drift, if you set the ECU and turbo to kick in in the midrange RPM, your power will arrive earlier and your tires will break traction to start drifting sooner, even when your car's stationary. You'll lose overall horsepower in the top end, but that's not what drifting's about anyway. In drift mo...

Before the game came out, I remember seeing a screenshot of an Escalade with a Do Luck rear windshield decal. Hilarious, but I mean...come on...

Imagine a Hummer decked out in HKS decals...

True, but it's the only form of navigation help in the game. Better than nothing, no?

To all who are using PS2 controllers with adapters, do the buttons respond analog-style according to pressure like it would when hooked up to a PS2?

Go to your map, click your location. then click "Activate GPS". When you're driving, an arrow will appear above the car to guide you to the location. Following the arrow saves a lot of time instead of trying to guess which road to take.

OK, I'll post a pic of my fuel map for ECU and turbo as soon as I can. I'm driving an RSX. It's standard ECU and Turbo map are pretty peaky (like most of the first few 4-cylinder cars) and pathetic for torque. Most of the power is in the top end. I don't fully understand how the mapping system works...

For Drift and Street X, I’ve found it’s very useful to change your ECU and turbo torque curve to put more emphasis in midrange RPM. For drift, it helps your car break traction a lot sooner. For street x, your car pulls harder out of corners. You lose overall BHP in the top of your RPM, but your ...

NFSU2: Are all cars and parts unlocked when you finish?

Is it similar to Underground 1 where you're given an all-access pass to all cars and parts without having to earn any more money?

BTW, how did you know yours is from Singapore? Cos it says "Made in Singapore" on the CD. Still haven't played it yet, just checked out the menus. But the Civic is selectable in the first batch of cars in the Asia Pacific version. I can confirm that. I'm gonna sit down now and fina...

I sure hope the Asian version is like the US version. I'm kinda partial to VTEC power myself. I'm sure the Corsa and 106 are great tuner cars, but Honda rules the NA tuning scene in Asia. (Ah Beng Type R power!!).

BTW, Andre, my NFSU2 CDs are made in Singapore.

For those in Asia, I just got the Asia Pacific version. Haven't tried it yet, cos right after I installed it, had to rush to the office!! But I did have a peek at the game's car files and there are folders for the Civic and RSX. Didn't see any for Corsa, 106, NSX or S2000 though. Was in a real hurry...
