Just finished career or NFSMW

Postby 4ceReconSniper on Sat 25 Apr, 2009 5:46 pm

I just finished it minutes ago, though I already completed NFS Carbon first. I did enjoy the game, the races of ronnie and bull are quite hard but a few restarts you can finish the races. I was suppose to finish it years ago but a Hard disk crash made me reformat my PC. I was at Toru (Bull) that time.

Ronnie was pretty easy actually. Bull was too. My only tough time was the police challenges with Bull... a bit. I managed to get the final milestone needed and it was a close call.

All the blacklists are easy anyway... The only hard thing was the bounty and the milestones, otherwise, I could say the whole thing is easy!

during my last race with ronnie he not only took the longest routes to reach the finish line but he also (at one piont) was on the shortcut that is on the freeway part and just then he turns around and goes on the longer ramp. it was very... unexpected.

An Exotic Class just said something important... Ronnie takes the longest routes to the finish line and we can take this as an opportunity to win him!
And from the first time I played NFS Most Wanted, I didn't put in my considerations that a Blacklist will take these long routes and leave his chance to win... And I am not sure but maybe Ronnie is the only one who took long routes unlike the other blacklists, they took shortcuts (As I Remember)

Surprisingly, I almost never took shortcuts throughout MW and always ended up beating them.

Nitro buddy, if what you just said is right so you are a good racer!
I could make it without shortcuts but I LIKE TO FINISH MY ENEMY AS FAST AS I CAN!

I decided to give MW another go a couple of days ago...

And much to my surprise, I ACHIEVED THE FINAL MILESTONE. =O

Lol I was very happy there. To the best of my knowledge this pursuit avoidance technique hasn't been added to any MW Tips & Tricks guide. I don't know how to explain it, so I'll do it later.

Right then, I challenged Razor. My friend told me he had one of each race to be challenged at, but it turns out he only had... 5.

Right then, the first time I challenged him with my Gallardo but I ugh - failed at the final sprint. Then I boosted up my transmission to max (everything else was already maxed out) and this time beat him. Then the final pursuit... ugh, first time the cops got me after the 5 minutes and second time couldn't even make it to 3 minutes.

Gonna try again. And if you're wondering why I'm still playing this, well I have SHIFT but my graphics card is a bit old for it so until I get a new one, yeah. I'm gonna try Carbon again too.

Yeah, should be fun - anyway, I made the "final" pursuit today. Not exactly what I was expecting, but a decent cutscene and thrilling race for the bridge.

I also started MW again a while back. Haven't played it just recently though, I think I'm at 3 or 4 at the blacklist.

JV and Ronnie were easy opponents. Although JV can be a bit tricky in the final race, from what I can recall.
