I've managed to run the quarter mile in 7.40 - 7.60 seconds, and the half mile in 11.60 - 11.80 seconds using my fully tuned Z06. Since I was at Autopolis, I had the grass verge to deal with on the quarter mile thanks to a roughly seven second wheelie, and on the half mile, I totaled the Vette a couple times due to scraping along the wall into a protruding barrier. Tomorrow, I'm going to take it to the drag strip at the first Showdown since that's a nice wide track, that way, I should be able to find out exactly what it has left to give me with its current tuning.

This is only after 10 mins of supra tuning as i turned off auto save and bought it & pimped it then dragged for abit then went to sleep =p

Supra tuning:

Front suspension stiff
Rear suspension soft
Start boost mid
End boost hight
Tire pressure high, front and rear
Nitros low pressure - use at gear 2. (I did)

Gear ratios - low as you can and still achieve perfect shift, except for 5,6 and final, make those a little higher so you are red lining.

If anyone can add / improove that then please feel free and I will edit :)

*Best Zonda screenie now at bottom*

zonda isn't bad for drag, did 6.64 without suspesion tuning. I like broad green band, so I tuned the gear ratios to produce the widest green band so I'll have time to switch gears when using nos, personal opinion, the final gear ratio is the most important bit. By the way, though it's quick, I don't think the zonda is the best for drag racing, it can't do wheelie, maybe my suspension setting isn't right.

You mean the "sweet spot" on the rev gauge? Do well on the burnout and the area will be bigger. I don't think any tuning setting or part upgrade has any effect on it.

Great video. I can only get to 5.98 tops. You used clutch, how to use clutch on keyboard? Or, are you using a wheel?

Nah no clutch usage there I've been trying the clutch but so far the times are not as fast.... I'm using a $20 logitech dualshock plain Jane gamepad lol ....key board just doesn't cut it when you have to hold revs to launch right.

The zonda can wheelie almost the whole 1/2 mile if you wanted to do that... in the wheelie competition the zonda will wheelie the whole run easy... but just doesn't look as good doing it as a the muscle cars do !!! lol

my best time is 6.84 in an RX8. I'll upload a picture later.

Anyone know the best tuning for a zonda? I just bought it last night and haven't had time to adjust it.

I managed a 6.63 in a Pagani Zonda w/ all Stage 4 upgrades w/ the exception of suspension. Then I did some pretty major gear adjustments and maxed out the boost and nitro settings.

Plus people are running faster times than than :) so you know =]

If you have all stage 4,

All gear ratio to max including final (with this you can reach 251 mph in gear 5)

ride height at max

Basically with those you can lay down 6.2 seconds and under on the 1/4 mile.

Alter them around and the record is 5.58 seconds :)

Once I have all stage 4 parts I will post my exact setup ! :)
