Wow, come on guys... cparty is one man. He can only do so much and I'm sure that his life doesn't revolve around NFS. :?

@ Tur8o: There is no specific date for this booster pack, though they mentioned it would be released sometime in December.

Editing money:
Run ArtMoney and Pro Street, select Pro Street as process.
Go to 'Search > Search', pick 'Exact value', and search for the amount of money you have.
You should now have a few adresses. Move the adresses to the right box by clicking the blue arrow.

Now go to Pro Street and buy or sell something. Anything as long as your money changes, then go back to ArtMoney. One or more values should have changed. Change the/those values to the amount of money you want.

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

Post by Albtraum »

Hey guys.

Since the patch is available, the Codes for the hidden Cars didnt work anymore. The cars obtained through 'old'codes were still there, but with no Performance Data at all, and trying to tune them crashed ProStreet.

Obviously they changed the carcodes and unlockallthings/collectorsed-codes doesnt work either.

But, after patching and saving ingame, i found 16 new entries:

Code: Select all

C4FFDE2C 71884561 Porsche 911 GT3
A3879E6A D3BCBE6A Porsche 911 GT3 RS
D43D0667 9338615F Porsche Carrera GT
A6DCC132 CCBB49B5 Koenigsegg CCX
38AF78B9 54787EF5 Dodge Challenger Concept
6A1CB6A4 51517F64 Aston Martin DB9
6B88CDF6 0754104D Lancia Delta Integrale Evo
8A0372CB E339CD0F Lamborghini Gallardo Supperleggera
0ED3510E 11ABA2E5 Seat Leon Cupra
CFD56142 5159FB9C McLaren F1
33E46FE4 2951EEBC Audi R8
ACBD671B 4D0BE1FB Plymouth Road Runner
030A0AF7 1590B369 Honda S2000
A1F94771 2E99F425 Mercedes SL65AMG
45013DAB 9145633D Bugatti Veyron 16.4
EA03A62E 19496344 Aston Martin DB9R
logocode remains the same, but carcode is different.

Problem is, these cars (except for the Plymouth and Seat) wont show up in car lot, just like the cars from the ce-version.

But you can still add the non-functioning cars through old codes and change them in the garage slot (doesnt really work - edit).
edit: Looks like those cars are only displayed when you added them pre-patch
I already had the Lancia Delta and 911GT3 and they now work as they should, with correct performance data (but the delta still has unfinished body kits)
The other cars, which i just added wont show up in garage. I can see performance data is correct, but there is no car displayed - strange

edit again:
just deinstalled&reinstalled prostreet, added all the cars, patched the game and then changed the carcodes in garage - that worked (literally: a lot of work).

So, let me get this straight. Replacing the car codes in the garage after the patch still works?

(short)
Yep, but in some weird way - only if you already had those cars in your garage before patching.

(long)
With patch installed, the cars with 'old' codes wont display anymore, only logo and car name are visible, perf stats are zero. And the 'new' ones (ProStreet adds them by itself) are somehow locked, and wont show up at all (just like the CE-Cars).

But if you already added them before patching, they're still in the garage, with zero perf stats too - but you can change the carcode and make them work then.

Thats why i ran through the whole reinstall-process, just to get all of these cars (I had only a few of them in my garage, they could be changed)
hmm...maybe you dont need to reinstall, if the game still works with an 1.0 executable (and the cars too) this would be a lot easier. but thats just a thought.

edit: found a better way, while messing around with the blueprints
but too tired to explain (and translate to english) it fully.
because of that, you should better backup your files before editing ;)

1- just buy a car with the old carcodes. this will create a carslot entry, which links to an empty tuningslot (the reason these cars wont display anymore).
2- note that number (tuningslot is the first of the last 4bytes of a carslot).
3- scroll down to the end of the carslots and note the first byte thereafter as your tuning-baseaddress.
4- multiply tuningslot with 1870h (or 6256dec) and add that to the baseaddress + add another 6140 (17FCh).
if we are at the correct address, we should be 4 bytes behind a single FF and some lines above the FF3FFF3F-header from the next tuningslot.
5- here enter the correct blueprint-code for your car:

Code: Select all

B6A5223C Porsche 911 GT3
1BF662CF Porsche 911 GT3 RS
7A38BBE1 Porsche Carrera GT
9D990000 Koenigsegg CCX
425B5611 Dodge Challenger Concept
9E9D0000 Aston Martin DB9
297EA002 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo
F84788D7 Lamborghini Gallardo Supperleggera
88E1BCBA Seat Leon Cupra
B8817A52 McLaren F1
9E686F76 Audi R8
FF1711ED Plymouth Road Runner
B406A503 Honda S2000
69B51C00 Mercedes SL65AMG
2239B480 Bugatti Veyron 16.4
D0541400 Aston Martin DB9R
now the car should work as expected.

if you need an example picture:
upper half: carslot - the 2F is the tuningslot
lower half: tuningslot where the code should go
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/2117/hexedmd3.jpg
edit: for step3 - tuningslot1 baseaddress:
http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/7224 ... artdx9.jpg

i've done it by hex editing my savegame, but in memory it should look the same

actually we already did this a few days ago

follow the tuningslot-link to the tuningslot (described above) and add 1388/56Ch
there should be 4bytes FF, 8bytes after the Vinyl/Decal-section
( last 4bytes marked in this pic: http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/6011 ... lotcu0.jpg )
in the pic, i already changed them to A8000000, the code for Nate Denvers GTO

some codes from cpartys megasavegame (190cars)
note: they only work on the car they're made for

@emsterfan: ja, hier is ne anleitung in deutsch: http://forum.gameswelt.de/showthread.php?t=20902

@D34THC0R3
new savegame by scratch? hell, no
just joking
i modified cpartys savegame, where all the pretuned cars are available at the car lot (see attachment)
just added the 16 cars into the garage and modified the carcodes for car lot
(but they wont show up, just like the ce cars)

4 of them aren't yet finished: Challenger Concept, Lancia Delta, Gallardo and Audi R8 are still missing body parts (like before).
but performance and all (wheelbase) should be correct now.

@Albtraum
Could you post a list of default blueprint codes for all the cars? Since unlockallthings doesn't work anymore...

Also, do you know if anyone has cracked the performance parts hex-editing yet?

hope they're all correct. i wrote a little tool to extract them, since i'm too lazy to go through all the cars manually

btw: anyone encountered the 53 car cap for garage yet? you can bypass that by changing the 02 for garage cars to 82 for won cars, cuz they wont count towards that cap

as for Performance Parts, i did'nt looked into that much, but take a look at this pic:
http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/4568/perftuningwb1.jpg
thats the beginning of a blueprint, i marked the Parts in red
looks like theres always 2 bytes for a part - the level and what part it is
Performance Parts:
66 Engine
4B Drivetrain
02 Forced Induction
5E Suspension
31 Brakes (adds the following 6bytes too - no idea what they mean)
4A Tires
65 Nitrous
Body Parts:
6C Hood
5A Spoiler
38 Front Wheel
5C Rear Wheel
21/2B dont know #-o
The Blue markers are for Paint Type (Gloss, Metallic...) and Color (0-59)

yeah there is a editor that does something. it also has some info about checksum fixing.
But I did not fully hangout how to use this thing corrcetly. I could get it only onces to work but not for a second time.....

http://www.nfsplanet.com/nfsps_files.php?lang=eng
Scrolldown to check it

BTW I have now 2 savegames to get all cars. So I wonder do we need to wait for a traineer to enable CE cars and Stage4 parts again? The unlockallthings code do not work anymore.... (almost anything else still work so the code probally got alternated or removed -_-

@cparty
i hadn't get this far without you finding these codes initially... ;)

@reilsss
i use that mini-save editor/checksum fixer, too
it also has a command line option -f to just fix the checksum(s), good if you don't know the money amount (or too lazy to note it everytime, like me)

if you do this stuff in memory then you don't have to worry about checksums
______
update on performance parts:
10 2B is Roll Cage 1 and 20 2B is Roll Cage 2
xx 21 are Racing Seats (11-1A*)
not on picture:
xx 15 are Exhaust Tips (11-1F*)
xx 29 is for Roof Scoop (01-05 - same value for Carbon parts  )
wheels can be 11-88
but as you can change this stuff easily ingame, some notes on performance part values:
*the value depends on what car it is and what parts it has available*.
so if you have a tier 2 car, 01-03 would be for tier 2 upgrades, 04-06 for tier 3 and 07-09 for tier 4, whereas the tier 4 parts on a tier 1 car would be 0A-0C.
confused? just install the last tier3 upgrade and increase this value by 1-3. or any tier3 upgrade and increase by 3

I'm currently working on a v1.1 compatible savegame that includes all the 60+ cars in the garage and career at 0%. It's going to take me some time, considering there are 60+ cars that need to be done. I'll upload it once I finish.

EDIT
Can you attach the tool you wrote to extract the car blueprint codes? You're missing a car, the Acura Integra (not the Type-R).

I won't include it in my initial release, but may make an additional release with a Most Wanted M3GTR replica.

@Albtraum
Would you happen to know of any "secret" vinyl codes, such as the one for the Most Wanted M3GTR?
