Little bit of problems ( hehe )

Hello

Im new here at NFSUnlimited.net ... And I am quite familiar with Adobe Photoshop .. So i decided to take my skills one step further ...
I designed a vinyl for my Eclipse .. Since its my first ... I had some problems ... and wanted to know if anybody could help me so i dont do it wrong next time

...

I kinda based this design on the Eclipse Iria vinyl .. also from this website .. it served as a guide to me ( Positions and other stuff.. ) .. So thanks for the owner of Iria ..

The problem is : The colors all mix up and i dont really see what im supposed to see .. when i leave at WHITE (the vinyl ) .. the vinyl got a RED tone to it ..
I made the car red .. but i really wanted it to be the original colors ..

...

If you want to see the original colors you must make a unique vinyl.

(BTW: there is already a thread for this topic -vinyl help thread- this should go there)

Hmmm .. Unique ..

but in what .bin file i can find a Unique Vinyl ..

ex: .. im looking for the autozone one .. but i cant find it ..
help???

look for the ones that are custom, what i mean, u gotta choose a name lie rx7_custom13 etc.

if you wanna see your colours as in your photoshop, you must change channel values.
go in IMAGE-->ADJUSTEMENTS-->CHANNEL MIXER
for the RED, switch red value to 0 and blue value to 100;
for the BLUE, switch blue value to 0 and red value to 100
it must work now

this is the channel mixer window you must open

well, if you realy wana know, you shuld do bouth things, import it on "eclipse_custom6" (it shuld replace "rose" vinyl with your one" but before it you shuld do the channel mixer thing. good luck

well ... i did it all right .. but now my game crashes when i choose that vinyl ..

Now you should get the originaal colors in the game. Oh and don't forget what you want black you need to make white on the mask or else it has the color off the car

@dani: unlock the wireframe layer, then delete it before saving

@stazak: perhaps your vynil has too many colours, or they are too heavy for the game to support, so it crashes...or something's wrong with the mask, but it must be the same of the other one you made, so...

try to make colours not so bright.... just go to adjustmens>brightnes and contrast, and then make the brightnes -10

Problem fixed... my vinyl is becoming so good looking

Edited: Scully &Mulder comic pics completed (shiznit it looks a bit weird because the wheel arche....

) without the widebody it looks correct.
