NFSU2 installation problem

I'm trying to reinstall Ug2 and when I get 99% into it it says that there is a problem copying SDATA/sdat.viv ( i have a orignal copy)

Any visible damage on the CD? Other then gently cleaning the disk surface not much else can be done.

well there are a bit of scratches on the end of the cd

If possible you could try reading/copying the disk with some other cd/dvd-drive. Some drives have better fault tolerance then others.
