I just got done playing HSR mod with the leader of it. Its a beta and I have to say, with its faults and error(that all games have during beta) it was pretty good. Here is a screenie. This guy will merge with our AHR team in 07 so expect graphics better than this picture..

That's not a screenshot from AHR. It's from a different mod in the making by another mod team that will be joining the AHR team in '07.

What the ... you are trying to say that he will make all the maps and stuff and I will be kicked apart? Also those aren't graphics, that is detail of the map, using blocks and vertex manipulation. Also that is from a very good envinronment.

Half life is not a racing game....lol

It's a shooter. but the engine is capable of almost anything that is why it will be used for this mod.

OK, so your completely canging a game, to make a game, for it's engine? So your competely making a new game, and using a game, for it's engine, to be used for a game. Ooooooooook.

You're taking the Source engine and using it to modify Half-Life 2's attributes. Understandable enough? >_>

No. We are just merging with another team. This will mean more mappers and coders for you to work with .Just chill and we will work everything out, even the Free roam.

Ive been thinking up some extra spec info when viewing rides in your garage, other than what Stig is working on for stock, for upgraded cars.... well..

0-60 time
1/4 mile time
Dyno specs (maybe, depends on how good the coders are) (ie, HP & Torque)



All this info will come stock for all the cars, the hard part will be making sure it registers correctly with upgraded cars.

stig, PM me your WIP final car list, not with specs, jsut the car list... With prices by them aswell.. (From price and hp per dollar value, we can begin classifying all the cars by tier levels...) I need it for the media release and website..

I did already implement the 0-60 times and topspeed of the stock cars.
I could also find the 1/4 mile times for most but it will be alot harder to find it for all.

but it should be a nice add to get the specs and times upgraded from the stock version once tuned.

we could always calculate that ingame.. We would have to do it anyways after mods are installed on the cars..

one thing..it says we can have jobs and stuff..can we actually get out of the car and walk into our jobs (and then time just skips forward), and walk into shops to buy aftermarket parts?

could you expand :D

If free roam works out as planned, you can get out of your car (you cant walk all over city. We will have your limited on distance you can walk away from your car. This way you must park in front of work or shop.). For job, you drive to the business office, store or whatever, get out and work begins, then ends.

For shops, same deal, only you can walk into a fully detailed store and purchase stuff. How detailed or graphically appealing the store might be, I dont know. Hopefully VERY good, if Digi does his coding aspect as promised.


Hey stig, the guys over at TeamZX2 told me all the manufacters that make aftermarket parts for the ZX2. The ZX2 isnt a very popular mod car, so maybe these will get you a head start. Btw, Can you look into a trim level called the S/R please? It was a pretuned ZX2.
