I guess I can see this working. My only complaint is that the background is rather plain, and better use of that space could be made. Could it show scenery from one of the tracks, the Nordschlife or Autopolis perhaps?

I agree with Dunko as well. The background could have been put to better use. However the colour isn't bad and this is an overall very pleasing cover.

Found these on the Pre-order page on GameStop.

I must say, this one is a keeper. I love the airy feeling of it, hard to explain. Just no more dark and dank night time covers or blistering sunsets, this is nice.

I was about to say something really, REALLY bad but since TheStig came around and broke the party, I'll keep quiet...

Anyways, now after I've had a few days to get accustomed to the box art, I agree it needs more work. The text doesn't blend well with the blue and it looks like a quick 5-minute Photoshop job. EA usually makes some good NFS box arts.

Well, for me it's perfect, very nice colours, and it's something diferrent from previuos box arts i have background in mind, i gues what i'm trying to say, that this is first light-coloured and overall light NFS boxart in years.

Doesn't EA generally tease us with there boxarts?
I'm not sure if they did with Undercover but I remember there were 2 boxarts for ProStreet and Most Wanted, this may not necessarily be the final version, but what we could expect from the final one (I could be wrong).

But idea behind BMW,is that everybody recognize it.
So,it atracts ppl.
Boxart itself is pretty decent.
Tho I prefer something import,rather than exotic or muscle...

That box art is sweet, but I'm not too fond of the text effects used.

Now that is the best NFS boxart I have seen uptil now! Before this NFS Most Wanted's boxart was the best but now this takes the cake. BMW M3 GT2 is the cover star of what looks like a Need for Speed that will turn everything about NFS uptil now. (What you should know is that I am a Beemerhead)

Ahhh... Definitely the most pleasant NFS cover of all time. Reminds me of fresh morning air on race day. Yet, it also does a nice job of illustrating the chaos of driving a racecar.

nice cover indeed,simple and nice,just not sure about the floor texture,it looks kinda wrong angle from what i can see but i doubt they missed that.

I love the box art. I agree that the background could have something else, but it's nice the way it is. Simple, good choice of colours too. Hope the game is that good.

I dont know why people are bashing the cover. I cant imagine any other cover "style" that would fit a race title that is branded as a simulator.

Sim covers are always simple and neat.
