I'm disappointed that you've spelt my name wrong, but I'll let it slide this time. I guess I should thank you for including me in your sig, though.

yeah I try to forget about the disturbing ones though. It's not so much that it's funny but more because it's true. BTW how TF did I spell Porsche wrong lol I'll fix it up

You sure? I'm not sure how reliable this source is, but it says:
G-Unleashed wrote:Maple Valley Raceway is a fast-flowing track in the beautiful fall-time England.
I can't seem to find any information on the track from Turn 10 themselves... Canada would make sense I suppose, but I always figured the name was just suiting for the autumn setting. When I think of a maple tree, I think of all the cool oranges and yellows the leaves turn in the Fall.

BTW I always thought the mountains on the Maple valley track where bigger, so maybe I can be in the UK, but it could also be in Maple Valley WA (USA)

Another update: American Muscle. Surprised? Me neither. What do you think will be next?

Annnd a new fictional track - er, autopark! Hard to tell without a map or more photos, but it sounds awesome. Two road course configurations, an oval, and a mile-long drag strip! Sounds like the perfect place for tuning and testing.

That was 1 of the cars that was really missing in Forza 1 and 2.
They only had the T23 Celica.

Even though they haven't revealed the majority of the cars I already know I will enjoy this.

A lot of the cars they already mentioned are very nice, and often pretty original for a racing game...

I have always loved the 510. I cannot wait to get my hands on that car. :D

What a great lineup. Glad to see some light shed on a few JDM classics. I wonder what others there may be...

I played Forza3 a bit today and I must say I was a bit disappointed!
The game engine feels exactly the same as the one in Forza2 and the graphics haven't improved much either. Sure, the cockpit view is new and the quick rewind button too, but those aren't really a revolution.

The exotic looking tracks are promising though as they look like a decent change from the dull racing tracks.

I would think that it would be hard for Turn10 to change the game engine too much for a simulation game without moving away from that genre. Think of it like trying to change the shape of the wheel.

Can always use some refining to the engine and physics system ofcourse.. Unless the Forza2 engine was flawless, which I doubt.

The engine was of course not flawless,

But to be honest there weren't any real things that bothered me in the game.
Only downside in the graphics department was that the cars did not have open wheels, they where closed, so you could not see trough them, but looking at the screenshots and movies of FM3 they changed that.
Other then that I really can't say there where things that bothered me, ok gameplay wise the careermode could have been bigger and have more variate in it, I am a big single player gamer. but I read that the careermode calendar changes so you can play for a longer time and not every year the same races (FM2 didn't have a calender just point based progression)

I would be already happy if they only polished the gfx and given me a bigger carlist and more tracks.

EDIT:

I added some cars to the list because I was browsing the web and for some carlists with cars that where not on this list, if the cars did not have any written or picture confirmation I did not add them, or if the "confirmation" was rather vague.

Some of the examples I found with pics:

McLaren F1 GT:

Porsche Carrera GT

Ford Falcon V8 Racecar: (aussies gotta like that)

With good reason I think. Think NASCAR but with a few more corners, and more understeer. It's a wonder why Ford Performance Racing hasn't put in a cranked version of the F6 Typhoon and absolutely flogged Holden with it yet. Oh right, apparently turbocharged 6-cylinders are illegal because they show up big-block V8s too much...typical Aussies.

Just got Forza 2 collector's edition off Ebay for $36 (AUS) (mint condition)

lololol

V8 supercars sucks balls.

They couldn't hande the competition, so they just said *only Austraian V8s* I wish somebody coud bring in a Audi DTM car and show them how its done.

Anyway, who's actually getting Forza 3?

And also, what's special about the limited edition? Is it worth it?

I'm "actually" getting Forza 3. I'm not sure why you'd doubt that anyone would buy that amazing game.

The limited edition comes with a 2 GB USB Forza 3 thumb drive, Forza 3 keychain, VIP status for Forza 3 online, 5 exclusive cars (Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Corvette ZR1, Porsche 997 GT3 RS, Aston Martin DBS, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera), some custom painted/tuned cars. Some other sites also say that there's a Forza 3 Theme included.

It would be worth it had they priced it at $10 USD more than the regular version, but it's actually $20 USD more, so it's debatable. If you're actually going to use every single thing that is offered inside, it may just barely be worth it, but if you are uninterested in any of the components, I'd say give it a pass.
