Need for Speed Most Wanted developed by Criterion has been confirmed officially by EA.

Sweet, Criterion making is good. Just hope it doesnt have the same driving physics as BP/HP. They were good for those games but i feel NFSMW needs something different. Fingers crossed for customization, and for Cross to make a return, lol.

Edit: wow look at the interior, maybe we'll have an interior cam also?

I have to say, this is the first time I've been excited about this series in a very long time, but I'm still very skeptical.

Even though Hot Pursuit was a quality entry, I don't want it to be like it, and even though it is one screenshot, I get that feeling a bit. As was mentioned, I'm going to be upset if there isn't deep customization, let alone any, and I hope they take just the right amount from the original.

And yes, if 'Fairhaven City' is real, please help us. Where'd you get that info from datass?

@Dr. Houbenheimer: if you look at the Charger's door, you will see "Fairhaven City" written just under "Police". The name of the city is really... weird. But well, MAFIA's city was called "Lost Heaven", and that game turned out to be one the best games ever, so yeah, who knows.

I hope there's proper customization. But somehow I don't think we will have that. I know it is only an image, but a stock BMW... doesn't feel right. Let's hope they show a trailer with a lot of scenes at E3, so we can have a better idea. As for handling, if it handles like Hot Pursuit, I'm going to love it! The "burnout" feeling when crashing is also a plus for me, I honestly like that.

It looks more like a poor photoshop to me. Aside from that, I'm looking forward to seeing more of what this game has to offer. Criterion is a great racing game developer, so I'm expecting something great from them once again.
