Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
Actually, it looks like it might be a fun game. also if you look at the donuts the Aventador is doing, the car isnt spinning out like in a rwd car, you can tell the car has awd. kinda hints at the physics. IDK how the story will turn out, psyched because there is a ford raptor in there, hopefully there will be customization. (Im talking about the trailer)
Just watched the gameplay video. Im not fond of the takedown cam, at least not for taking down racers. Hopefully it has a fun online mode like BP though

Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
After watching both the trailer and the gameplay video, I have mixed feelings. While it is being made by Criterion and I love the way they can come up with a fun racing game (Burnout, Hot Pursuit), I saw no tuned cars and it this MW seems to run on Frostbite, just like The Run. Of course it is too soon to tell, we have no details about the story, free roam and other stuff.
I hope they have redone the way the cars' drive, from the gameplay video it looks better than in The Run, but that's all I can tell. We will see out it turns out.
Also, according to the official description on their YouTube channel, this game seems to be all about multiplayer.
"Fans of Hot Pursuit and the Burnout series will be familiar with Criterion Games' driving style. We’re all about insane speed, spectacular crashes, amazing action and huge drifts. For Most Wanted, we've evolved our handling to suit an open, city location and to deliver a deeper, more physical feel that showcases the personalities of some truly incredible cars."
I hope this is true.

What a piece of crap.
Call me when EA gets their head out of their asses and listens to what the community wants, for christs sake.

Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
Criterion brought their touch to the NFS series through Hot Pursuit 2010, which was good. However, based off the trailer and gameplay footage we have so far it looks like Burnout Paradise re-skinned with real world cars and cops. The Burnout influence seems too strong and I'm not liking what I see, but it's way too early to tell if the game is going to be a hit or not. I'll be waiting patiently to see how this all develops.
Seems like this website is a ghost town. No longer worth a visit or anyone's time.
Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
how has nobody mentioned this yet?!?!
PLEASE GET THAT TRUCK THE HELL OUT OF HERE

i have nothing more to add
Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
Well, based on the video, it seems that they have taken most of the burnout paradise elements such as Billboard, gates, road rule into this game. They should just call it Burnout Most Wanted.

I think having a raptor in there is sick, what else would you want to smash cops with haha, a fragile sports car?ianism wrote:how has nobody mentioned this yet?!?!

Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
Can everyone please stop whining about the new Most Wanted not having customization. We don't have enough info on it yet and plus it's an early build. I'm quite excited for it (but not as much as BioShock Infinite). Criterion take on Most Wanted will hopefully be interesting and if you want NFS with customization play Underground 2/Most Wanted or wait to see if Blackbox will doing it next year. I don't want to start a flame war but the whining is just ridiculous.
Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
are you serious? dude look at it, i was expecting something that would make Forza Horizon look like a cash-in, but this... this doesn't even look as good as The Run...YaelDjiel wrote:Let the hate commence!

i also find it suspicious that Sullivan didn't say a word at the conference. usually he'd waste a few good minutes of our lives with his speech, i get the feeling criterion wasn't given enough time to work on the game...
FYI: Most Wanted has been in production longer than Hot Pursuit, and Hot Pursuit amazed with it's ''early build''. conclusion?

Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
Yes, yes I am. All we saw was about 2 mins worth of footage.. how much does this show about the game? Next to nothing, exactly. It's just funny how people can instantly judge this small amount of footage and say the final game right away sucks.datass wrote: are you serious?
We know next to nothing about it. It's just silly.
Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
four minutes actually.
NFS Hot Pursuit, E3 2010 gameplay:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... K_wQ986P4g
oh would you look at that... three minutes long but looks ten times better than Most Wanted. also looks nearly identhical to the final game, few small differences.
good luck next time. nobody can cover EA's f*ckups anymore.
we'll see who's right when the game comes out (me).

Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
The way I see it this is Criterions take on the need for speed franchise and I don't have a problem with having burnout elements in the game (it's what they are good at) I look at this and see it as what undercover should've been. I thought the mechanics and gameplay of the run was good (which this looks similar to) but the run had boring tracks and was too short which were its let down. I miss the spikes belt of road challenge/hot pursuit 2/most wanted (undercover and the run didn't have any and I didn't like hot pursuit 2010s implementation of it) so I hope it's implemented properly here.
Re: EA's E3 Press Conference
2 minutes, 4 minutes.. completely besides the point. That being said, I wasn't trying to cover up anything.datass wrote:four minutes actually.

It's just silly to prematurely judge a game on so little knowledge.
You sound extremely negative about everything in every post you make here.. maybe lighten up a little.

His nick is datass. He always posts like that. I ignore it most of the times, since he is only looking to start an argument. That's my opinion anyway.
