ok.. just want to verify... for the Xbox version of nfs:carbon (normal edition), there's currently no method of unlocking the Infiniti G35, Toyota Corolla or Porsche 911 Turbo?

That's not strictly true, as the Porsche 911 Turbo, the 1971 Dodge Challenger and the Infiniti G35 have all just been released on the Xbox 360 as Xbox Live Exclusives.

For the PC version, some locked cars like AE86, Zonda, 911 Turbo, etc...
EA found another way to make $$$.....
They had some more bundles on the websotre :
Tuner cars bundle: this has the G35
Exotics cars bundle: this has the 911 turbo
Muscles cars bundle: this has the '71 challenger
Custom cars bundle #1: this has the '07 GT-500
Custom cars bundle #2: this has the AE86, Zonda F
$5 USD each in the PC webstore.....lol
btw....they had the R8(LeMans) in the webstore too, 2 bucks....

Thx for the info!

EDIT: Funny thing, I got the 911 GT3 RS as well with these. Not sure what package it came in, possibly Custom Bundle #1 since it's a Custom car. It's not mentioned in the descriptions of any of the bundles.

Curiosity: Do these bundles make the cars available in Career Mode?

The three stock cars (Challenger, 911 Turbo, G35) can be bought at car lots in career for $0 and then used in career. The four custom cars (911 GT3, '07 GT500, Corolla, Zonda) are of course only available in Quick Race and Online.

It *should* be valid for GC and all consoles, aside from the PSP. Perhaps you can check a few things and confirm.

The idea of putting the GT3 RS in that Custom Bundle is stupid, it is already in the friggin Reward Cards

That's all well and good, but one of the tasks required is to beat an EA Moderator online. As far as I can tell, there are no EA Moderators online for PC, which is most likely why they've added it to the bundle.

Nah you can't add (G35 or any other cars like that) into the GC version of Carbon (I have it) the MR2, GT500, and the Europa S are unlockable via, reward cards in the GC version

thanks, so i thaugh the G35 was unlockable in all versions, it could be unlocable for GC too?

Posted: 17 Jan 2007, 05:10
by S2000_Skyline12
Nope. The GC has no way of transporting the data of the car onto to memory card nor does it have internet access (for carbon)

If you wanna do that go to the reward cards section but here are some:

Toyota MR2-Reward
Mitsubishi Eclipse-Reward
Europa S-Reward

If you want the rest then check the reward cards
