LOL!! Don't take it too hard there fella!!

Here's some Atlantica times to chew on. Damn this is a tough track!! What shiznit me here is reading back through my notebook I see a 41.75 sec lap noted on my second attempt. I didn't take a screenie cuz I figured it must be crap, since it was so early on. I've now run 60 more laps and still can't break back in to the 41s!!

Posting from work dude??

No drifting either - circuit and sprint are about the same things, so they both fit here.

hehe ... 206 die hard ;) '

I find this post cosy indeed ... very. Maybe we should keep to the circuits though, and open a sprint one for the sprints. If you think about it ... sprints and circuit races are pretty different. In circuit it's a more relaxed calculated style, where you have second chances and such. Sprint is a wild and mindless rush a la King of the Mountain where you spend tons of Nitro all the time. I personally dislike sprints because of that, while I like drifts very much (only breeched the 100.000 in 1 drift once .. else I run the Outrageous and a couple of Insane's...and that's it ... still ... pretty fun). I suck at drag.

Mmm, ok, it looks like it two votes to one, and I guess you got a point to two there, Summ. Plus, you can imagine the length of the leaderboard posts once we get a few more times and people involved!! Done - we stick to circuits... :D

Hey, guess what I've done - I checked back at Jeff's site and found an email link. I thinks to myself.. why not? The worst he might do is say no...

Hi Jeff,

While trawling the net sometime back, I came across your NFSU videos, showing some very decent times around Market Street, Olympic Square and Stadium. I was so impressed I had to tell the rest of the crew at 'NFS Unlimited' about you and I also linked to your vids to show them what can be done. I hope this is ok with you - please let me know if there's any problem. By the way, you can check NFS Unlimited at http://www.nfsunlimited.net, and see the forum topic that your videos have spawned at http://forum.nfsunlimited.net/viewtopic ... 5589#15589. I use the nick 'GT3x24x7' there. Please feel free to post some comments or whatever, the crew would love to hear from you!

The reason for this note is first to shower you with praise for your skills (consider that done!), and second to let you know we're hungry for more!! Do you have any videos from other NFSU tracks that we might take a look at? I find it's one thing to take to a track after seeing a pro in action, and a whole 'nother thing to punch it of the start line cold turkey. If you can help - great! If bandwidth might become an issue, I can certainly host the vids myself and would ensure you're credited appropriately, just as you already are in the forum topic.

So, that's it I guess. I hope to hear from you soon. Oh, by the way, saw your gliding world record video - awesome footage that! The sound of that thing sends shivers down my spine. Mucho props and kudos!!

Best regards, blah blah blah...
Hope to get a reply soon! Sure would be great to get some more tips from the master huh?? :D

hmmm master ... depends on the view we have upon banging full speed into walls. Whether that's ... "legal" or not. I already stated my opinion on that, and would like to see a vid from him doing Olympic Square the way we others do it, by sticking to the track .. and see if he can beat our times that way.

Btw ... what view do you guys use when driving in Underground? I use the Far cam myself, though in all other games I have been accustomed to use the bumper view.
