i will be satisfied by 800*600 with good qualities of a game .....but do you think i can get that with ati radeon 9200 se as a replacment for my ......nvidia Geforce MX 4000....?????????
actually,the rest components are good...intel pentium 4 2.8G.H.
512DDR ram......i guess they are fine.....
i have just one more question:
can i enable the motion blur ,light trails, headlights and crowds under 800/600 in 9200se or not...ofcourse without making the game run very slow !
Hey guys,i just downloaded new nVidia driver 61.77,and my performances are 30% up!Doom 3 is running in 40 fps instead of 30,on high details with 1024x768 res!
And i have an old GeF 4200Ti 128 LM...
If you have a Ati card, you have to get Omega drivers; I have radeon 9000pro and Doom3 runs with full details (on 640*480, but still !) on 36 average fps(fpsScrapper)... With stock (:D) drivers I ran it on 22 fps average. THEY RULE
well, my first suggestion would be to get as little background programs as possible to reduce to strain on your memory. then make all the visual settings on your games as low as possible. if that doesnt work, then your system is long overdue for and upgrade dude
BTW...if u use WinXP, thats a real ram hog, so u might need more ram
i need some advice.. im gonna buy a new vid card.. i have a few choices.. i can get a WinFast A300 Ultra TD MyVIVO (fx5800 it has 128GDDR2 ram), a fx5900xt, a radeon 9600xt 256ram, or radeon 9800pro 256 ram?? what do you think i shudl get.. i can get the WinFast A300 Ultra TD MyVIVO for under 100 dollars..
Well, the best card is the fx5900, but I would buy the radeon 9800pro coz I simply like radeons.
But if you can get the fx 5800 under 100dollars, buy it. It depends what are you planing to play in every case
Take the Radeon Pro. The 5900 IS the most powerful one, but you are talking about the XT version, which is the weakened one, and the same as I have. But it's the best card for it's price IMO.
wow, i can actually read the words on the signposts from that far away!!! not with my gfx chip, i dont see a single letter on a sign until i drive right up to it.
