What do you have against muscle cars? They're great joy to drive. I'd assume you like them 'cuz Australia is home of the Vauxhall VXR, which is UH-MAZING.

Corvette ZR1 > Japanese cars. End of story. And Hennessey, Saleen, Lingenfelter, etc. make absolutely brutal muscle cars, most of which beat the crap out of Japanese cars. Case in point - Hennessey Venom 1000. Especially if you go for the 1200HP option. Or you could soop up your Ford GT to the Hennessey GT1000.

LOL! You've gotta be kidding me. Why waste time on tuning when a muscle beast is equipped with monstrous superchargers? Muscle's acceleration prowess will knock tuners out of their tracks. :P

Muscle cars are truly value for money, especially the Corvette. I mean this in a real life situation. Given the option of a Nissan GT-R or a Corvette Z06, I'll go for the latter anytime.

The Venom 1000 is indeed very good in burning rubber, but that's about it, the normal viper isn't a very good handling car to start with, and if you add a other 500 horsepower guess what happens.

But can we get back to making lists?
And if someone doesn't like muscle cars and says NO muscle, let him, (you can't fill in a NO in a wanted list so  )

I totally would take a muscle car over a japanese car anyday (there are some exceptions) but overall power doesn't equal overall performance.
in the great words of one of the top gear guys (I think it was Hammond) "Its not a matter of how much power it has, but how you apply that power to the course" (and that might not be the exact quote but its the basic jist) :D .
muscle cars take the win in a straight line easily, but when it comes to overall performance they don't do so well because of their power to weight ratio.

and only to make this post relevant to the original topic:

some cars I'd like to see in the NFS series:
1.)BMW M5 (any year)
2.)BMW M1
3.)Lancia Delta (I don't know if it only showed up on the non american versions or if it was available in an update or whatever, point is I don't have xbox live and I didn't have it lol)
4.)Benz C63 AMG
5.)finally, the old school audi quattro (why not?)

Is that really the case? I mean, its quicker than the Bugatti Veyron in a straight line (and I mean MUCH quicker  ) and if you get the ACTUAL Venom 1000, you also get a COMPLETE suspension and tyre overhaul. And also its the only car to tango with the Bugatti Veyron and beat it in 0-200mph. It beat it by 4 seconds. And Yes it's not better handling than the Veyron of course, but then again it's $255,000 compared to $1.8 million. Whaddya expect?

I have posted about this elsewhere already but I figure it'd be easier if I re-posted the information.

This is my full list, I have posted it already but here it is:
Full List
In the full list, cars are ranked by star ratings (one to ten) of how much I would like them. Two usually means "just an idea". I could shorten the list but it'd take me longer than it would for me to add stuff to the list. lol. I may come up with an abridged version later.

if NFS wants to beat every single racing game, EA just need to put so much car in the game´s inventory. Some interesting cars that will change completly the way to apreciate this franchise, surely it will clean the floor with any simulation or arcade game, trust us.......

To me, thats all
But i have something to say about it, let´s think..... what happen if EA include all this cars and many more that people want?
1) the games would be sold faster and in greater quantity
2) many more people would be satisfied and grateful for the great variety, too little seen in games of this type.
3) would make a difference in the market, also could easily compete against both simulation and arcade games and beat them.
Now what the community think about this? Come on, let try to convince to the EA and Black Box people

I kinda liked your decision on a Bentley. But Bentley is more to the luxury side. I don't think it'll fit well. It's like putting a Rolls Royce Phantom or a Maybach 57 in Midnight Club.

Ahh... but with this list the modding will be uncompetitive... and this list is still absolutely no match for Gran Turismo, which will have an absolute ton of tracks too and offer the best Sim experience on PS3.

You have to remember... this will take much longer to make... and I don't think Electronic Art$$$ wants that for NFS, and I think they'd need a much bigger team.

edit: whoop[s that was huge

Thanks to all, all car list related posts from 2006 have been compiled into one huge spreadsheet (580 different cars totaling 1600 wishes from 67 different users) and sent to the right guys.

Next year we're doing an automated survey, this was way too much work :)
