NFSMW: Ferrari in progress !
As you all know, since the release of Need For Speed Underground , there were hardly any modifications out, especially custom cars modification, however, Arushan from NFSCars was able to crack the file formats of NFSMW and posted some menu screenshots with the Ferrari , so for those who really missed ferraris in NFSMW, soon you will hopefully be able to play with them....there are still some problems with transparency and wheels, but it's being worked on it, so expect some ingame screenshots soon, meanwhile, i'll leave you with the menu screenshots.

I can barely wait until I can get an Enzo, and maybe an F430 and a 599 GTB in there and race. This is really great news and will definately lengthen the playability of MW...I mean, can you imagine, finally being able to make and put in whatever car you want in a recent NFS game with great graphics...

yeah, i'm with Stig. it is exciting to see that someone can make cars for MW. yet you still have to wait. cause he has to sit and make bodykits for this, and has to make sure all the rim styles/sizes work with it, and has to make sure all the vinyls fit, and so on. it's going to take a long time for anyone to make a car for this game, because there is just so much you have to do.
still the thoughts of new cars like ferrari F50s and Chevy Camaros are sweet.

No shadow because they haven't been decoded yet.Toshiro wrote:No shadow? What is that?
Well, heres the thing... we could always disable body kits & car modding and just force the user to use it as stock like those bonus cars -- I sure as hell don't want to see any stickers on that Ferrari. People could just create a hacked save game for it, but it'll become their problem if the game crashes once they start modding it.Sweet-16 wrote:yeah, i'm with Stig. it is exciting to see that someone can make cars for MW. yet you still have to wait. cause he has to sit and make bodykits for this, and has to make sure all the rim styles/sizes work with it, and has to make sure all the vinyls fit, and so on. it's going to take a long time for anyone to make a car for this game, because there is just so much you have to do.
People can easily make a car for this. Somone does like they would for lets say nfshp2 and people download it and put it in their game. Then they might let people release bodykits for that car and let people make vinyls and maybe people could make their own bodykits for cars already in the game. Maybe somone could make a nice one for the Ford GT
This is definately NOT like the UG damage mod. First of all, we are talking about the greatest programmer here (imo). The UG damage mod was started by someone I don't even remember. I mean Arushan already crackaed the PU and HP2 code...and I'm pretty sure in a few months we will have a variety of cars for download for MW.TheStig wrote:something says to me this is just like the damage mod in NFS U...
need I say more
yeah. they need to get fivespeed into this. his cars are great! personally i'd like to see fivespeed's nsx for NFS4 converted over to MW.. they always leave that car out
and about my comments stating all teh customization parts: like the person who quoted me i did think abotu them being stock, so don't just jump to conclusions and flame me for wanting a bodykit or 2 for the new cars (believe me, they have them in real life!) and it would, intead of taking 1 person, take a group of people to make the cars.
to be honest, i'd like to see what bodykits could come out of the community! certainly they'd be better than some, if not all, of the ones EA designed!

Something makes me think EA have gone slack, or made it easy with this game because of all the other utils that were swiftly built.
I think if cars were to be downloaded into this game, as asarushan said, they would become like the bonus cars, a complete model how you want it with no ingame tuning proporties, 'cept maybe body paint.

When you add a bodykit to a car, you may notice that it has to change the origanal body of the car as well, so that might make thing a bit diffcult.Sweet-16 wrote:And about my comments stating all teh customization parts: like the person who quoted me i did think abotu them being stock, so don't just jump to conclusions and flame me for wanting a bodykit or 2 for the new cars (believe me, they have them in real life!) and it would, intead of taking 1 person, take a group of people to make the cars.
