Need For Speed: Carbon
i know that, i have nfs3/4/6 aswell
but as this is about street racing, it shouldnt have cars which are meant for race tracks
just ask yourself this; would you ever see a street racer driving a lambo or a zonda?
no..
why? too expensive and the risk of wrecking it is high and if you wreck it, getting a new one wont be as easy as getting a new e.g Civic or Golf

I've just take a look to the new video and what I have to say is AWESOME ! This game is a mix beetween MW and undergound, it's quiet sure but the autoscultp is really amazing ! It overpast everything I had imagined so far... Especially for the vinyl customization.
It will be very very long to wait until the 1st november !
And if everything goes normal, the demo will be out next week end !
Looks like it's gonnal be hard to go back to school !

-.-
not this type of streets
in the classic nfs games we had open, wide roads with very little sharp corners
here we have tight urban enviroments with lots of sharp corners
something else; if the cars are anything like the real counterparts... no way you could beat the zonda or CCX with something like a Golf but im pretty sure its still possible here
You can race with anything on the streets. The only reason these cars aren't seen in street races is because they are very expensive (thus only a few have the spending power to purchase a car like the Zonda) and the maintenance cost to fix parts damaged in driving mistakes is too high.YaelDjiel wrote:i know that, i have nfs3/4/6 aswell

On top of that, people want to drive exclusive cars (me included). I see Civics everyday and can own one, since I have enough money to do that. As a starter car, it's good, but the game gets boring rather quickly if it revolves around tuner cars only.
Finally, NFS has always been a name associated with exotic supercars. EA has tried to ruin it in the past, but the uproar from the true fans (mostly exotic lovers) and the competition from MC3 made them rethink their marketing strategy and include more expensive cars.

A question regarding about Need for Speed Carbon:
Do Carbon have a "car damage" or no?
I am asking that because the game (maybe) will suck if they don't implement a car damage. The NFSU2 had one, but just only when you "crash" in something and then the car is OK.

yes they do have car damage... goto the screenshot section and u will find an aston martin with damage on the side... there is also a pic of a gallardo with some scratches and damaged bumpers....
@YaelDjiel: this is just a game.... in real life im sure noone would do what u do in the game.... BUT thats what makes games exciting... they have some action and events that wouldnt happen in real life, so the players get excited because they have a chance to do it in the virtual world... if u know what i mean.... ea is trying to make some things real, like the car damage n stuff... although not entirely real... but they have to add some element of action in the game that cant be done in real life...

did anyone notice in the videos, the roads are hella wide. o_O i dont see how ppl would fall off the side of the canyons unless they have horrible horrible driving skills. any nfs veteran would breeze through it easily imo.
hopefully ea will fix the catch up system. =/ hopefully
btw. this is looking like midnight club but it still has (some) of its old nfs roots i guess.

I've heard "Sugar" and "Bounce", they are quiet good but much different from the song of Most Wanted...
Where did you find that these tracks will be in the demo ??
