Undercover PlayStation 2 Screenshots
Almost all the media from Need for Speed Undercover that gets released is from the PC/PS3/Xbox360 versions. The PlayStation2 version, which will be a bit different, is more or less left out. But there are 3 screenshots available on the official PS2 website. Check them out.

Thanks to supervolvo240 for the tip.

Your welcome Bojan. This has actually made my day. The ps2 version may actually be good! Now i must go to my job interview, get the job and then the money (ant then the ps3 so i don't actually have to get the ps2 version).

Cool. Looks great for a PS2 game. Though I'll be getting it for PC, I just pre-ordered it yesterday.

This is what PS2 will get? Are you serious? Maybe this won't be as toned down as I thought. Kinda the same as the next-gen versions, to be honest.

Impressive. Especially the rain particles. Now, the reflections aren't great, and it's not as good as GT4, but it's close, and the backgrounds and possibly the cars are more complex. The pic with the labmo looks good too.

It's PS2... it just doesn't have the resources to do ultra detailed models.

Re: Undercover PlayStation 2 Screenshots
Looks like crap. I feel bad for people who aren't getting the X360/PS3 or PC versions, cause there's like no ground textures, no AA and the "Particle" water effect is just a pre-rendered image of what you would see in the higher end version of the game where it is actually rendered. Also looks like someone with crappy PS skills shopped the front wheel on the GT. Would not get even if I had a PS2.

I second that. My preferred choice would be an upgrade of system, be it PC or consoles. Buying a new game under old technology doesn't give the full satisfactory feeling when playing the game.

ORLY
i remember trying out mostwanted on my ps2 and it was horrid, i figure they prob sacrificed environment models to keep car models to a decent number of polygons while all running happily on a ps2

Re: Undercover PlayStation 2 Screenshots
Look, the graphics aren't spectacular, but rewind about 7 years when the PS2 was hot and they were good stuff. It wasn't that long ago that Doom was cutting edge, lol. Now it looks like crap.
