Hi everyone. I downloaded the trial version, but I can't get it installed. At the very beginning where it says checking system profile pops up some error message telling me the setup cannot continue.
What should I do??

P.S. I tried to copy it to disk, no success, torrent download, no success. Tried even CS3 but it won't even start the install. I tried google-ing but with no success. I never had any Adobe software except Acrobat Reader 9.0 and Flash Player 10.
Please help me.

Well, why not? You guys know a lot of stuff and I thought perhaps you'll be able to help me. I did search Adobe forums, but I didn't find anything useful.

Ah ok. It just seemed like the message told you to do one thing (contact Adobe) and you did another. I'm in IT myself and it can be frustrating when people just don't read the screen.

That seems like a very generic error, which makes it unlikely that anyone here will be able to diagnose your problem or help you unless they have encountered and circumvented the same error before. Chances of that are zero. You should probably contact Adobe.

One thing that I've noticed sometimes helps with Adobe products is to copy the contents of the disk to the hard drive and install from there. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Well, at first I copied everything to the disk and it still doesn't work. I contacted Adobe support and they say they can't help me with trial programs and that I should see for help on forums. But I've found nothing useful there. One has a similar problem, but no one gave a solution.
I would appreciate any help.

I finally got it working. I had to reinstall Windows tough.
