The april fools bug that caused Showroom profiles to become suspended has been fixed. The Showroom is now fully operational again.
Note: There were no other April Fools events on this site. Everything else posted yesterday was not fake.

"AM I glad it is the 2nd April and another Special Day 4 US Europeans... awaiting 4 FnF2-4',THX'!"

Re: [April Fools 2009] Showroom Issues Fixed
Mmmm... This bug didn't effect me until the 2nd of April, lol.

I tried since no one else bothered to. However obviously, no one cares enough.

Remembering all the incredible April Fool's jokes this site has pulled, I have to say this year's was laaaaaaame!

Re: [April Fools 2009] Showroom Issues Fixed
Every year news posts on April 1st are uncovered sooner. Heck, this year somebody even claimed the EA Deauthorize tool was an april fools joke...

Yeah, but it's always amusing to see people fall for the jokes. I mean, there was Lego NFS, then the Carbon DLC, NFSUnlimited shutdown, etc...
No offense, but the showroom "problems" may have been more hidden, but they were annoying to say the least.

Dont worry. The Filefront Shutdown hoax was the worst of them all this year.

Thank you. This joke was not funny. I might have actually, like, USED the showroom more than a bit yesterday if you were a little more imagintive (really, that NFS SHIFT video was enough)

Haha! To be honest, I fell for it initially. But the links were too legitimate to be faked. So from there, I realised that it was NOT an April Fool's prank.Bojan wrote:Every year news posts on April 1st are uncovered sooner. I was fooled ahh.
I even sent Bojan a PM about this LOL. I just realized what day was after writing the entire PM. Still I sent it, just in case.
It was nice tbh. But on past years it was better IMO. I still remember the Carbon DLC, OMG at the time I was so excited about it, and then... it was all part of the tradition.

I sent TheStig a PM about it before I realized it was a joke.
I'm relieved that it was indeed a joke, though, and I'm not mad about it or anything. I'm just happy it's "fixed" now
