I will start playing tommorow, i guess we could race a bit once i get my first car and at least some upgrades into it (or we could decide to race stock, who knows )

First of all it will be me learning the game and then im playing on a keyboard, so...it may get funny on some corners

I dunno what key on the keyboard it is but on the 360 controller it's the left triangle button (aka select/back)

Anyway I'll post my autolog when I start playing online. Currently using Jul's input dll which apparently annoys people online...

It's regarded as a cheat though all it does is reduce input lag. It's not a cheat it just allows more control over the car without feeling like it's a barge on a high speed canal ride. Thing is over at NoGrip there are people who remove people from their autolog friends list for using it (Purists?).

Pity it fixes one of the big issues with the game.

floating cars and huge deadzone's just tune a car and it's fixst!!. you dont need ad mod for it.

that tire mod on nogrip i reported as cheating. i have seen video's of it and it gives you more grip.
(tire mod is already removed from nogrip) and iam glad.

There are some nice cammera mods en liverie's for shift2 on nogrip. i like that.
but wen you can make faster times with a mod. like that tire mod. i call it cheating..

I dont use the mod because, at least thats what i heard, it makes AI slower overall due to the changes. Not sure if thats true, but im rather happy with where AI is now and i'd like to finish Single Player first before modding.

I gave the strong AI mod a quick try using the Career Modern C single exhibition events at Dijon and Donington national both 2 laps, I used an almost stock Mitsubishi Evo X with only race suspesion installed, PI of 518.

With in game difficulty set to hard I found these events easy, the AI's fastest lap was a 1.16.7 at Dijon short, unmodded the same AI driver in the same car did a 1.17.4.

At donington national, the AI's fastest lap was a 1.24.6, unmodded a 1.25.6

With the minimod installed I'm able to lap around 1.5 seconds a lap faster as I can carry more speed through corners without the sliding and background traction control kicking in the unmodded game feels like it has.

From the small amount of events I've done so far I'd say the unmodded career is still harder, as the AI only seem to be a second a lap slower than with the strong AI minimod, but it's possible to lap 1.5 seconds a lap faster with it assuming a 60-90 second lap.

For reference the AI in quick race with strong AI minimod installed on hard were doing 1.15.s and even 1.14s at dijon short, and 1.21s at donington national.

Juls, if you need some testing of AI laptimes done in different events I'd be happy to help.
