I have a Radeon 9600XT and your solution improved things immensely! Before, when I turned AA on the screen would basically go black. So I had to play without AA. Now everything looks ROOTABLE!

Thanks for the heads up!

I got AA working ok on my XFX fx5200 128mb agp card after messing around the settings, heres my setting,
Using 61.77 video drivers
agp rate 1x
no overclocking
aa set at 2xq
image quality set at quality, not high quality

Now for my nfsu2 setting

Reso-800x600 above this causes lagging
Details maxed out
Enhanced contrast off(makes it look very dark, lags it too)
Light trails off(makes the car windsheild look more colourful, lame to me and causes lags)
AA at mid lvl or even max
Everything else maxed

And it runs and looks ok, heres sum screenies

I Only have with AA enabled now

Ok i ran fraps and it seem sthe highest fps i can get is 18-19, average 16, to me its running ok, i'm not gonna based my gameplay off what fraps says, anyway it does run better without AA, but i'll keep it on
