A visit to EA Studios, The End
A visit to EA Studios, The End
Let's continue with Need for Speed Most Wanted:
In Game Animation<a href="http://www.nfsunlimited.net/mostwanted/ ... ots/"><img src="http://www.nfsunlimited.net/media/nfsmw ... /65-sm.jpg" border="1" align="right"></a>
One thing that has really change a lot since Need for Speed Underground 2 is the way the story is presented to the player. If NFSU2 had these boring comic book like video clips, Most Wanted is completely different with high quality animation a bit similar to those in NFS Underground, but much better looking and especially much more of it. All the animations actually began at EA Canada studios in a huge room all covered with green screen. They even brought in cars all covered in green! They applied special effects to the footage so the ending result is very lifelike character movement with animation-like appearance that goes extremely well with the game.
PSP version<a href="http://www.nfsunlimited.net/mostwanted/ ... ots/"><img src="http://www.nfsunlimited.net/media/nfsmw ... /66-sm.jpg" border="1" align="right"></a>
Among other versions we also got to play the Sony PSP version. For those of you who have never seen the PSP (it was my first time) I can say that it's a very impressive device! Huge screen, good control, great design and many other great stuff. Well I was even more impressed with NFSMW. The graphics are really good for a handheld - everything in 3d, motion blur, good car detail... In the little time I had with the PSP, I tried of course the Tuner Takedown mode which is exclusive to this version. Driving a cop car is really very fun, although the busting was made a bit too simple for my taste: to bust a car you have to hit it two or three times. Once you do that you proceed to the next...
If you want to find out more about the PSP version, check out EA's official feature list and this preview at 1UP.
Ok so I have reached the last in the "A visit to EA Studios" series of articles and although I would like to say more, this is about it.
It was a great experience made possible by EA and huge thanks to Jon!
The last 3 screenshots are available in our <a href="http://www.nfsunlimited.net/mostwanted/ ... screenshot section</a>

A nice read is also EA's report on the even which you can read here. Can you find me on any of the pics? :)
So this is about it, I will still answer questions so if you have anything to ask, just reply to this post, or use our official <a href="http://forum.nfsunlimited.net/viewtopic.php?t=5704">NFS Most Wanted thread</a>.

hi man, i'm from Chile so excuse me if my english is not good.
First of all i have to ask you something:
What do you think that are going to be the PC requirements?
you can see in NFSU2, the sky changes very quickly from evening to night, how is the climate in Rockford city? is slowly the change of the sky or is fast?
When you played the game, what was the music tracklist?, i mean the songs, the artists?
and finally...
Can you select a driver? because in 1 screen i can see a character driving the car.
So that's all and please, please, if you can send more information about the game release and requierements for PC, i would be very pleased.
And again excuse me if my english is not so good! (I'm studying pedagogy in english at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, CHILE)
Oh i forgot something: There is a DRAG mode like in the E3 presentation?
Thanks

Yeah, there is Drag.l I heard the game still automatically alignes you with the lane but it's not as constrained as in UG or UG2.
About the soundtrack, I got this:
"Larry: When we first started the game we thought well we will license songs but then we went back and said we should compose our own music, and mix it in with licensed songs. So when you are getting chased by the cops, the music becomes more intense and you feel like you are in a Hollywood movie or that you are actually there in the action. It give the game a real organic feel."
...from Xbox Evolved.

PC requirements I'm guessing will be like NFSU2 was compared to NFSU, so a bit better then for NFSU2.xturbo wrote:hi man, i'm from Chile so excuse me if my english is not good.

I think the time of day didn't change as fast, all the driving I did was during the day...
About music: it's not as various as in NFSU2, you'll listen to more rock tracks ingame and some hiphop in game menus. Cop pursuit will have special music made by ea and will vary depending on how the pursuit is going.
Drag mode is in of course and for drivers I think there is no selection.

Just a small prove, I did post earlier than you in this post. You think I'd never flip through the pages in the Post yourself thread? Come on man...PSZeTa wrote:No you didn't.Andre_online wrote:I knew that before you.
I've seen his picture @ Post yourself.
He posted it in March, which is before you registered.

So? That you posted it before doesn't mean that you knew if before I did. But I do know that I knew how he looked like before you did. >_>Andre_online wrote: Just a small prove, I did post earlier than you in this post.
