Had the same problem, I just turned AF to 2x in my display settings and everything is fine.

I finally tried the 240sx, this one took me a lot of time tuning it up. And also trying to get the quick perfect shifts in the beginning was kind of difficult. Well we can't unlock them since the file inside is just 4.50kb... It's probably that EA just forgot to take out the folders when they scrapped the two cars.

When you're in Stage 5 only, it's the 2nd unique you get after a number of outruns. Once you beat the game, too bad, you gotta start over.

I think it depends a lot on each car. Just test it out installing each part by part, not by package. That way, you can get the max performance.
