Re: Gran Turismo 5
FFS.. Driving, racing.. Perhaps Polyphony Digital emphasizes the ''driving'' aspect more, but a discussion whether it's actually a driving or racing game? Christ, that shiznit's irrelevant. Can you imagine a few guys in a room, ranting on how it's a driving or racing game? If I would be hearing that...

Completely blacked out would even be a step back compared to GT4. Even that game had ''some'' interior.

You can leave it in N if you have a seperate handbrake. Putting it in P locks the wheels, but it should still be used with a handbrake.

1:37.3xx with the tuned car and a fairly slow 1:50.1xx with the stock one. I find the stock car barely driveable with the Dualshock, the tuned one is a bit better.

Re: Wohoo, the best RMA case ever!
Nice one! A proper upgrade through RMA is likely very rare, they probably ran out of 3870 cards? They could've given you a 4850 as well, so a 4870 is great.
I've read about troublesome RMA experiences with Asus, so that makes it even better.

Also, I believe that all FQs are UK only. The number's based on engine horsepower, while the rest gets trims (GSR, MR, etc), all with the same power.

Re: SS00's "Built Not Bought" Bike Thread- New Bodywork!
How much of a difference does the lightweight bodywork make? I'm guessing it's made from a different material? I'm really looking into a motorcycle license since I've been rocking this 30 mph (More like 45 and afraid of cops) 6-speed moped of a mate, which basically is a severely underpowered motorc...

Hope they improved the AI. I was playing Forza 2 endurance and I always got nailed by opponents I had to lap. End result; I had to finish the race with damage while I was trying to set a quick race time.

Can always use some refining to the engine and physics system ofcourse.. Unless the Forza2 engine was flawless, which I doubt.

I've done it multiple times and things never went wrong. One end should be into the green wire and the other in any black one.

Best would be to connect some stuff to the PSU as well, like harddrives or fans.
If your case gave off an electric shock, there might be a short. Try to boot your hardware outside the case.

170 Premium new models (full interior modeling, the interior corresponds to vehicle damage)
830 kinds of standard model (some are from Gran Turismo 4 that have been carried over to GT5) [Read: Cars we have seen in GT4 before]

Try to start the software bundled with the drivers and see if it isn't set to some weird audio setting to simulate surroundings.

Re: New car?, want more performance or Looks? Come here and ask!
It's your first car? Ok. It's pointless to think too far ahead and get obsessed with reliability, power figures, amount of money you'll be spending, etc. You might get a car that's supposed to be reliable, but this particular one ends up being epic failure. The mileage you plan on doing might change...

I find that computers usually don't last very long.. The CPUs can be kept longer than graphics cards though. GPUs tend to get slow real quick, as graphics just take giant steps.
Anyways, I got my watercooling setup running and load temperatures are the same as idle on stock cooler, lol.
