I care about customization more than any other feature of the game, honestly. That is what provides me with the hours of replay-ability. Without it I lost interest in the games rather quickly after the first time through.

The game plays exceptionally well with a 360 controller on PC. No plug ins or programs needed.

Played the demo on PS3 and found the game to be very arcadey. Not sure how I feel about that these days.

Clearly, whatever this guy is running from and hoping to gain, he is willing to kill for considering how he pit the other car and let the truck send them off the cliff.

I look forward to this one.

All I want out of this game, and it is such a trivial thing, is the mirror feature. I cannot understand why they removed it many games ago, and why they don't put it back in. Without that feature I will likely bore of the game very quickly and not make much an effort to design cars.

Got really excited when I scored 1685 on a single run. Then, when getting the video ready to post I realized that it was a second run and I had a 1000 point head start... grunt...

This patch, awesome, and for one reason only. I no longer have crash issues when playing Shift on a Widescreen monitor! Now I just need to replace my game pad (daughter broke it by accident) and I can get back to playing Shift!

in my opinion awards like this mean nothing. what matters is what YOU think of the game and whether that makes you buy or play it tons or whatever... But awards like this mean everything. Not only do they bring pride to the desiginer, but provide the customer with an idea of the quality of the game...

Very much so. I am hoping that improving the game stability fixes the odd bug that I found when I purchased a wide screen and the game crashes everytime I start a race now (worked fine on the old 17" screen).

Seriously, I have a pre built and it did not come with vista discs. This is my dumb question of the day, but how do I reinstall the OS without the install discs and serial numbers?

There is not doubt that is on the christmas list. Vista has got to go. Actually, screw it I am going to go and pre-order it now.

I was given an idea that I will have to try on top of your suggestion. Installing the older driver might work as the person suggested that the new driver and Shift may not be compatable. Gonna give that a shot.

i see that u thought your old one was broken haha, but i don't see how the new monitor would do such a crash. Is it only from shift or have u tried different games and or video's. It is only Shift. I would also add that a proper controller plays a big role in this game mode. As throttle control is the Key to drifting it means this game mode is all but unplayable if one doesn't have an analog controller (pad or pedals) for throttle. Other game modes are more tolerable, but drifting...is unforg...
