Yeah, they seem like great machines though. Although from my research they seem over priced and from what I understand the customer service is horrendous. However, it appears like they are owned by Dell now so that could apply to both units...

Yeah I was leaning towards the XPS, but I didn't even consider the fact that that Alienware would be gone the first time I turned my back. I like how the XPS looks like a normal laptop at first glance

I don't think it would but why not buy a Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or E6600 (E6400=2.13Ghz ; E6600=2.4Ghz) the X2 4600+ is around 300$ and the E6400 is 250$ and the E6400 beats the X2 4600+ and the X2 5000+ and it's cheaper. The E6600 is 340$ and it beats all AMD CPUs but it's a little more expensive....
