No, it won't allow me to check setup. Guess my motherboard can't set it to 4X mode. I guess i'll send it back, cause there's nothing else I can do.

How do I check CMOS? I'm a bit noobish and I don't know how, but I can't get anywhere with the card because of the checksum error.

yeah, it said to take it out, so I did and put my old card back in. The old card works; the new one doesn't. Is the memory fried, or is the card (AGP 8/4X) trying to display in 8X? My mobo can only support 4.

Ok, I finally got it to work, without using a drive cleaner, and without the drive scratching it. I think that the scratches were on the disc to begin with.

Drive Cleaner Disc? Could I find it at EB? maybe the Thomson drives can't read them.

Oh yeah, I think my drive is srcatching the disc.

with the replay thing, I thought i heard somewhere that that particular code was in the game. If not, how did EA make their official movies? It's probably hidden, so if someone could find it, it would make the game quite fun. What about transfering the player from NFSU2 and see what that does? Woo, ...

Need For Speed High Stakes is mine. The diversity was awesome. I loved the alpine tracks, complete with mountain passes and avalanches!

One of the best moments was in Need For Speed Underground. I was last on the last lap of the race. Then came the final stretch; a downhill straight. On that last straight, I jumped over every single car and arrived at the finish line milliseconds before the rest! Good times this past summer...

I would have to say Most Wanted 2. The setting and the cops especially, make it more interesting, at least from what i've seen (still waiting for my copy ). However, I would like it to be a more High Stakes oriented game; damage, tournaments, pinkslips etc.

If only I lived there lol! It might be hard here, because there are a lot of those copies in Canada. Anyway, I'll try those suggestions out., Who knows, someone might just give me the version i want. I really don't want to play NFS on a GF2MX.
