Okay everyone. I have figured out how to get an uncompressed PS2 save to my computer without using AR. Now I know where to put the new hex values for the ECU and Turbo, but when I go to load it on the actual game in loading the profile it starts to read the profile then it says that some of the data...

Just remember you cannot use AR Max to transfer the files to your PC. AR compresses the file when you put it on the USB stick. You are going to have to get the original file over to your PC or Hex it right from the card itself, which is what I do.

Yes you can hex edit PS2...you just haven't found out how to do it. I know how to do it. It's not that hard.

Yes I have searched high and low for the hexxing stuff. I know how to hex from my post earlier I said that my checksum is not getting computed and I wanted to know if anyone had successfully hexxed on the PS2.

You need AR Max to get the files to your USB stick. Once you get the file to the USB stick then you need to open a Hex editor to edit the file. From there you have to know which line corresponds with what car and it's different parts. I can edit the rims in the editor, but when I go to load it back ...

When your second gear goes down that far then you are not hitting it right. Try raising the second gear a little taller. Plus are you hitting NOS is second gear? If you cannot hit the setup there are other setups that you can NOS off the line. Plus those gears you have are for an advanded driver. Wh...
