Re: What console do you have?

You would pay 200-400$ just for one game? Now that is just wasting money, it's not like you can't live without one game.

Re: Whats your 3Dmaark score.

I get 35743 on 3Dmark 03 with gfx card OC'd to 680/1900/1750 (overclocked the shaders separetly)
But on the stock i get 34247.

I can try to get a score with 720/2000/1900 but i don't see the point. Also i am not gonna download 500mb for 3d 06.

Re: What console do you have?

I never heard of Racing games or GTA on PC being much better on keyboard than gamepad lol They all have they're strong and weak points. No need to start a little war over it. Did you read what i quoted? He states a PC is not good for gaming, now that's a first and nothing beats the mouse, not even ...

Re: Videocards.. which to buy and whatnot.. simply videocards!

Well if he want performance he should get either 2 8800GTs or 2 9600GTs, but if he wants to spend less money they he should in no way buy a 3870 over the 8800GT which is a bit more expensive (5-20$ depending on the shop, country etc.)

So is it a USB or a PS/2 mouse? If it's an USB mouse then you should be alright by just puting the mouse in another USB. If it's PS/2 and you are puting it in the keyboard PS/2 then it won't work.

And since when are they good for gaming? Too confusing for me... I'd rather just stick with the simple, yet just as good PS3. Ok, you have no idea what you are talking about do you? You think that PCs mean Pentium 2 CPUs with 3dfx Voodoo? No seriously, that is the stupidest remark i ever saw, PCs a...

Re: Videocards.. which to buy and whatnot.. simply videocards!

8800GTS G92 is less powerful than the GTX and 2 9600GTs are better than one GTX so better get 2 9600GTs also the 8800GT is only good in SLI.

Re: Videocards.. which to buy and whatnot.. simply videocards!

Mine is Gainward 9600GT with dual slot cooler solution and it's very good it even has a filter (doesn't let alot of dust get between the fan) and at 25% fan (you can't hear the fan at 25%) in idle i get 34-36C and in full load i get 55 (compared to 40+ in idle and 64+ in full load on the single slot...

Re: Videocards.. which to buy and whatnot.. simply videocards!

I have a PCI-E 16x with a 9600GT and it works so it should work on your mobo, but what kind of chipset do you have cuz if it's a crossfire board you can't do SLI without hacked drivers and an SLI bridge.
Now, 2 9600GTs are better than 1 GTX and the 3870x2 has some driver bugs last i heard.

If you have that much money to get those kind of cars in real life then get the gallardo. The Enzo is exclusive and the Saleen sucks in real life.

Re: Test drive unlimited

Just a quick question, what kind of graphics cards do you guys have? TDU on my system absolutely refuses to turn on AA even though I set it in the options. I have an ATI X1600 (or 1650, can't remember), and AA works just fine in other games. I have the 9600GT and i turn on AA from the nvidia contro...

Re: Computer Help Thread

Double check the connection especially the monitor and video card connections and see if it's in correctly, if all is good but still no picture then if you have a friend with a PCI-E video card ask him to give it to you for a bit and see if there is any change, if still o, then try his monitor and s...

Re: Computer Help Thread

You need a new PSU, i recommend Chieftech, Sirtec, Forton, Corsair. Or maybe the motherboard doesn't support something. But try the PSU first, i recommend a 400W one. A quick conclusion if you don't know what the exact problem is and how not-environmentally friendly the computer is. :? Well i thoug...

CoD 4 = Great Multiplayer, short campaign but good.

BioShock = Great single player, very good story, but no multiplayer.

I would get CoD 4.

Re: Post your O SO GREAT system specs!

It is good but the best thing is the E8500 it can get to 4GHz with ease on AIR cooling and second best is the E8400 which is a lot more cheap (i think it's the same as the E6850, if not cheaper). Though nice choice.

Re: Computer Help Thread

Well these mobos should works and unless you have more than 2 IDE devices you can have everything you had until now (though you MUST reinstall Windows so try to get your hard drive to another PC and back-up everything you need on a CD or something): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
