well, i only see pontiac gto, porsche 911 gt3 rs and toyota mr2 on the online cards
can't see it either on offline cards

i came to this result (lazy way i know :p) the game itself know which car can be unlocked and are playable in career mode, those datas are stored ingame and obviously, such data wouldn't be stored in savegame, so any change to the file will no work it could be this, or not but i won't dig any farthe...

what godspeed mean, is this is not a checksum fixer
this only allow you to load any edited savegame (checksum will be incorrect then)
by saving from the game, the checksum will be replaced by a real checksum computed by the game itself, allowing you to load it without this unlocker later
