they were the innards of a catalytic converter and the welding was from me having to cut the cat off the front pipe and weld it back on

he usually get me to do the work to his car but this time he decided he knew better, i had a shot of his car after he did the brakes aswell......less said about them the better.......apprently you get used to a brake pedal tha travels to the floor

but you could say that about some chav fitting some lowering springs to his saxo/corsa/106/insertname of other pointless hatchbacks here he might not have a clue what he's doing like someone i know who managed to fit half his lowering kit upside down and forgot to tighten up the wheelnuts

its already happening, andy saunders already had his bently muslanne turbos V5 revoked which triggered a new IVA test which costs £450 and the guys found 33 faults of which 13 where with the rear lights yet missed a track rod end so worn it was about to fail all modified cars look like their gonna ...

carbs are cheaper tho and i wont need to run aftermarket management(id have to with a turbo aswell)altough i may upgrade to TB's at some point and there is a kit from DBLIAS which retains the standard ECU MAF etc just basically has the ITB's and uses a common plenum which draws air past the MAF whic...

erm niether, both overated 4wd japanese taxi's, want a real car chuck the silly engine configuration's and turbos and go back to carbs and points..........you may need a toolkit in the boot tho

good idea starting with, what would be the best idea with my escort, i have 4 choices of engine i can stick with a pushrod and get around 130bhp using twin carbs lairy cam and an overbore to 1700cc drop in a 2.0 pinto engine and get 150bhp using same method 2.0 zetec engine, now this one id be happy...
