There would be a numeric ranking for each car, on a scale of (say) 0-1000. Ranking would be determined by a combination of horsepower figures, weight, and a few other factors, but there should be a rigid algorithm for determining the number. This sounds a lot to simulators to the likes of Forza 2. ...

They reuse the same models that they paid to license and model for. What do you expect?
