Whenever I restart nfsu2, the controls reset to default. I'm guessing this is due to some security feature in Windows Vista, because it worked splendid back when I was using XP. I have tried running as administrator, and I have tried disabling "read-only" on all files in the nfsu2 director...

I had the same problem for keyboard when I used Vista, but worked perfectly when I changed to xp.

That's what I did mate, and then the game wouldn't run at all. Funny thing is the game runs flawless (in single player) with no patch at all. The game isn't supposed to run on Vista at all unless it's patched to 1.4 or so I have been told.
