when you get to complete against ryo you only do sprint and drag races does that mean i can sell all my cars except for them two and still go on and complete the race!!!!!!!

i am trying to complete a grip competition and it is taking forever and i am winning all the races by 40 secs eaxh time but i am only collecting 5,00 points every time i have won each race twice and cant improve my points tally. So can people tell me what they think is the best grip car on the game ...
