So I gave up on the GT and the Z06. Went and bought a 911 Turbo, and basically owned face with it between wrecks. It also turns out to be a fairly durable car, as I have slid it into billboard posts at 200+ with out it totaling. I now own a swanky looking GTO.
Thanks for the help guys.

Re: Best Drift Car
The announcer makes fun of me for using a Cuda as my drift car. Untill I post 6-8k scores. Its only plus is the tires never hook up. It makes the big sweeping corners into points nirvana. However, saying that, I just finished the drag/sprint part of Rio wannabe last night (who wrecked in all the spe...

Re: NFS carbon muscle oversteer
Must sleep more before posting. But much the same holds true anyway. Loads of torque, stick the front end down as well as you can, and make the back end slippery (high tire pressure, v hard suspension settings). So any of the 60-70s muscle cars will do, I prefer the Road Runner over the Cuda for som...

Re: For The Die Hard Fans
I'm also from the old school. I remember spending literally days playing HP and watching the replay videos. I went out and bought a FFB Sidewinder 2, JUST so I could play PU. And I still play that. It was IMO the most polished of the entire series, even with how limited it was. Then came HP2. The fi...

Re: ProStreet Speed Challenge woes!
You use brakes in speed challenges? Update to my post. The GT is just a waste of money in the Nevada races. Even with the suspension set as soft as I dare, and with the ride height as high as possible, it STILL gets tossed around by every little wrinkle in the pavement, and it goes from tight...

Re: NFS carbon muscle oversteer
What do you mean oversteer with? What event did you want to use it in? I beat the drift king with a Barracuda, which has gotten me nearly 6k points before, if your looking for a good muscle car to drift with. IMO setting the power band as low as possible, and the nitro as high as possible, thus keep...

Re: NFSPS PC version issues
Yeah, in game calibration is a MUST. I have a force feedback joystick and its so twitchy sometimes it feels like it goes from full gas to full break in about 1/4". If you rip the hood of a 911 turbo, you can see straight thru to the ground. Lazy texturing much? Mind you having a bunch of cars t...

Re: ProStreet Speed Challenge woes!
Im having a lot of issues with the speed challenge as well. I have a Ford GT, but I just cant tune it to the point where it is even controlable at speed. Suggestions? As it stands, Im trying to do the last race day in the speed string with a Z06, but it just dosent seem to have the power to keep up....
