Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
I think I've seen it as i was going through some codes initially (before arushan posted his lists)... wait... try EBE25493 - but that only displayed in menu and crashed when I wanted to 'drive' it  the game crashed, not the heli  guess it isn't a P(layer)Vehicle and therefore not on Arush...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
2 cparty If this is "that" easy, then can you describe editing process, in details please I'm a noob of HEX, to get CE car's, Terlingua mustang and Subaru, please :D How 'noob of Hex' are you exactly? Well the simplest way to get them would be to search and destroy...errr replace existing...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
For the Career slot, the first byte is a ID and if thats -1, that means it hasn't been allocated... ... Well, the customization and career slots should be allocated independently. The carslot has an index to a customization slot and an index to a career slot. For "Career", I allocate both...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Didn't even have to initialize any of the Customization slots other than for the model code. The stuff after the customization slots (I think you mean the Customization2 slots -- which is really supposed to be called "CarPart" slots because thats what they are =p)... I left uninitialized,...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Some kind of SaveEditor would probably be nice, but I'm not sure if it's worth the time when you can do the most useful changes with some easy hex-editing. You're probably right... its pretty hard to get a save editor to create the customization slot... its much more easily done by getting the game...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Yes, it works, if the money editing part is skipped with -f parameter ;) Don't really have to search... First Car Slot = 230h + (32bit int value @ 208h) That should be simple enough? :) Oh - k again :) thx for pointing that out I'd simply searched for the Slotnum of the first car in list, but knowin...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Anyway, the file format for the saved games seems somewhat more logical to me now... should be easy to write a proper saved game editor that can edit the CarSlots, Customization, Parts, etc... but I have no idea how useful such a tool would be. Any ideas/comments on that? Shouldn't be that big of a...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
When i start driving, i still have the Nissan Silvia i replaced. thats because you need to replace all 3 codes ;) -modelcode is for the car displayed in menu only -logocode is for the name displayed and ( maybe ) performance data ( edit - not sure about perf data anymore ) -carcode is what car will...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
@prince It isn't just hard work - it's fun for me, too. I'm kinda addicted with that stuff since ProStreet :D @deadlok By replacing every single instance of the TT, you kinda completely took it out of the game ;) See, the Carlist basically has: Bonus/AI Cars CarLot Garage/My Cars you just want to ed...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
uh, didn't thought about my cars... but there are only around 70 tuning slots present in the save file. i guess garage and my cars have to share them. the actual soft limit is way lower - 30 i've heard, but that could be bypassed by adding 80 to category (82) it was possible to combine garage (02) a...

unlocking.. well, no. not yet without the unlocking cheat code. but, yes and yes. it's permanent and i could buy another 240SX* to have both in garage. or buy a couple 240SX and get the other cars as well ;) edit: carlot remains unchanged that way - challenger (and other ce cars) would be/are hidden...

Oh...k, thought it remained the same as it was in prostreet, it had these 16bytes at 38h, too guess it's worth a try... ... checksum fixer from prostreet works for undercover - how sweet is that? edit: money editing feature doesn't work, obviously - as that has changed from prostreet, see here...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Okay, got a list for you and I think its the right one this time... I was looking in the wrong place... well... for me, none of the funky stuff above was needed. just searched for my money value with 3byte reverse byte order and got these addresses: Value1: 012A3DFB Value2: 056A24D7 Value3: 0741C7B5 changing value1 provided no result ingame, but changes with value2 changed value2 - bingo! and no freez...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Didn't work - crashed my game, I'll look into extracting some of the regular cars codes out of the savegame later... But yes, CoDeRiPPeR did a small money editor with checksum fixing abilities for ProStreet. Shouldn't work with Undercover, but he included source code for it. I guess it could be modi...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Unlocking the full CE is pretty easy (technically just a 1 byte patch in memory)... but I feel kinda bad revealing it since its a source of income for EA . Right. Because EA doesn't have any other source of income and cares about its consumers so much that it actually makes a decent game. :ro...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
very similar, carslots are 28bytes now, with some new bytes for pinkslip cars (AA01AAAA), but rest remains unchanged the 01 basically says that its a pinkslip car and you can buy copies of it. and theres only one customslot per car now, instead of 3. custom slots are 2700bytes and theres 70 of them....

Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes
Is there are way to get the CE cars in the regular edition? Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes
on these forums? in this thread  but, you don't need codes for that garage swap just find the first carslot (78 56 34 12), and copy the following 515440 bytes. then paste that into a new savegame, run checksum fixer and done. thats my method of saving cars from corrupted careers, it works. you...

Re: Car Replacement in NFSMW
Have to disagree on the last part. It's possible to change the car to replace. Take a close look at the car.ini in the Cars_Replace/FordGT folder. there should be an entry like: internal=fordgt just change it to another car-folder, like punto  then rename FordGT folder to Punto and it sh...

Also, this is a bit off-topic, but honestly, the Bugatti isn't very fast anyway - there's no nitrous and it's really heavy . Get the F1 instead, or just save your money and get a Zonda (which means you don't have to go through this process at all). What am I saying? Why am I giving you this help an...
