So much like NFS:HP 2010 that it burns.

This is the least hyped I've ever been for an NFS game.

I'll admit I jumped on board with the Deluxe pack.

I respectfully disagree. Not only is Hot Pursuit not the best NFS game (maybe in the top 5), but I honestly think it's also Criterion's worst game to date. only truly good games Black Box ever made were Underground and Most Wanted, but even those had more than enough flaws. If they're so dang flawed why are UG2 and MW the best games in the series. The worst NFS title ever is NFS Undercover. I can't hate The Run with all my heart because I commend them...

This is good if you want NFS to go in a good direction but I'm not sure if I personally think I'm too much of a Burnout fan to find this to be great news. I'd REALLY rather have a new Burnout installment over Criterion-powered NFS games.

Sounds better than The Run did. The Run was ludicrously high.

I could probably run this if I sought to play it on PC. Not sure what platform I'm going to, though.

Guys, open your eyes please! There is NO VISUALLY CUSTOMIZE on cars....just look at the cover page before you buy. Excellent! I always thought some of the reset points were bizarrely close to the edge of the track. Resetting you back because you ventured too far away from the course is fine but not if your four wheels BARELY left the road. I don't want to burn a reset for a derailment I could easily recover from.

I know you're disappointed and I'm sorry I got your hopes up.

I'll quit hyping racing games from now on.

Now that I know the game is more or less like that in actual gameplay, these trailers connect with me a lot better.

What's the length of story mode? Will you get a good amount of gameplay time out of it?

The demo is really exciting but I'd hate to really get into it then BOOM, it's over in like 7 hours.

#2 they already sorta addressed as being some kind of happy medium between what you got in Hot Pursuit and Shift. The cars require more finesse to slide than you could do in Hot Pursuit (which was very clearly descended from Burnout's handling) but it's definitely more on the arcade side than Shift ...
