I actually love this game... which considering how bumpy the series has been in the past, is rather surprising. SHIFT is firetruck lightyears ahead of Prostreet, and for once the graphics are actuall worth a damn - not to mention physics. Granted, I've nver really been into the whole simulation raci...

Actually, you don't have to place in the podium position to earn the clean lap. Just hang and wait for most of the pack to pull ahead, then... just coast along.

I've been trying to get this star achievment for the past six hours on Tier 2, and frankly I've about firetruck had it! How in the name of christ on a canoe do they expect to spin four opponents when I'm lucky enough to get one, in a single race.

I've seen a few of them in the showroom, but I haven't been able to mod one myself...

I actually want to buy the game, if not for the sole purpose of competing in the Showroom, but everywhere I look the game is still listed at $59.99 NEW---$53.99 USED.

Is it because the game is selling better than usual?

Has anyone else noticed that PS3 ports of some games have been having really bad lag lately? Fallout 3 did in some places, but Undercover has the worst I've ever seen. Not even older generation racing games had such choppy framerate.

I'm really confused by all this.

One person says the score is like 8.0 out of 10, then the next dude says "epic firetruck fail" in the framerate department...

Can a patch really fix most of the technica problems? Because I think this racing series is down and out...

Not sure. But if you look closely on the right, there is an option to change sorting order.

Tis true. There was a RWD Evo in FnF3, wasn't there? So yes, it is perfectly possible to change drivetrains on vehicles completely. I'd like to see the option to add AWD to a 350Z in future NFS titles.

Anyone here know if there are more zones to modify on your bodykits this year? It'd be somewhat bad if they were the same as Carbon's.

So far, I only count two; the Pagani Zonda and the LP640 Murceilago.

And if I remember correctly, some of the older vids made mention of a McLaren license at the credits.

McLaren was credited in some of the older vids at the end, though that might be for the SLR version... It'd be cool to see the new McLaren P8 and P11 models in the game; those cars are awesome!

Anyone else think the Audi R8 Quattro is one of the "supercars"?

The next batch of vehicles have been released on IGN. The Corvette Stingray is in the game! They also list modified versions of those vehicles in the screeshots section as well.

Can someone explain to me why I can't even see the pics on their page? Everytime I click on the link, it sends me back to the same page describing ProStreet.

It's not too bad. I'd rather be focused on not crashing into things instead of looking at flashy HUD gauges.

Well, back January of this year I managed to get my X360 sent in to be replaced due to a hardware defect in all of the '05 models for free. Up unti now, everything has been peachy... at least until tonight that is. Over the last few months, my console has been acting rather strangely; the DVD drive ...

That they did. I think that the storyline will be Underground-esque; some small dialogue-FMV sequences where needed.
