Like Zedex, I've shelved Shift in favour of Modern Warfare 2, but I will probably try it again when the patch arrives. Right now MW2 is such a welcomed change of pace, that the patch really needs to impress if I'm going to become fully active in Shift again.

A perfect shift isn't always a perfect shift. Sometimes you need to rev way beyond "perfect" to get a decent start.

It makes a difference to me....but only because I've been foolish enough to use shadows as braking marks When I drive online, the host might not use daytime, and as a result I struggle in several corners.

I would say that GT-R SpecV upgraded to right below 14.00 is the best all-rounder. I don't remember exactly which upgrades I omitted, but I remember it made a world of difference when I got the weight reduction and took away two other upgrades.
