Re: NFS Carbon: Hex Editing [Tips & Tricks]

I can get Cop Z06, (C4053AF9 928F0F95 Palmont PD2) into career mode, but once I do this, the car select feature stops working. Adding it to "My Cars" works just fine. I used a trainer to unlock all cars and parts, and bought it from a shop. Afterwards, in career mode, the car appears and w...

Re: Carbon Reward card help

You don't need to start a new career. Iron Wall - win 20 defensive races in career mode. Start a race, abort, and exit to free roam. Repeat until a challenge occurs. Repeat this sequence until "Iron Wall" is rewarded. It may help to do this on a race you haven't completed yet, but I don't ...

Re: Better car at drifting?

Regarding the highest drift score, it's possible to get 100,000 at Ebisu drift G (touge) by constantly sliding the nose of the car on the outside wall, due to some quirk at that track. Appreciate if ya can give us a played video of urs regarding this. This was done by another player. Do a web searc...

Re: What cars do u always use when racing?

Best cars for non-extender pack, assuming stage 4 cars

Grip in order: Zonda, Ford GT, 911 Turbo, RX8
Drag in order: Camaro SS, Zonda
Wheelie in order: Acura NSX, Charger R/T
Drift either is OK: Camaro SS, RX7
Speed: 911 Turbo (the only car that can go flat out at Nevada), Lambo (for Autobahn).

Re: Better car at drifting?

RX7 and Camaro SS are good drift cars. The Camaro SS rides walls better, and slide a bit straighter when using the handbrake. Parts and tuning the same for both: Parts - Stock - brakes, suspension, tires. Stage 4: engine, turbo, nitrous, drivetrain. Tuning: engine + nitrous +10, drivetrain - 1st +10...

Re: (R35 GTR!) Umm... yeah. What extreme machine to beat RYO?

Tokyo A is the harder of the two drift events. Using the handbrake (version 1.0) or brakes (version 1.1) while sliding will extend a drift, especially if going down hill. Another point to remember is to keep drifting to one side for as long as possible before switching, since the drift points accumu...

Re: (R35 GTR!) Umm... yeah. What extreme machine to beat RYO?

At least on a PC, the Zonda is in a class by itself (unless you have the extender pack cars). It only took a few tries to get the 37.05 lap time in the Japan time attack in this video. The car does slide around in tight corners, but it does this at a higher speed than the other cars, and it has more...

Re: (R35 GTR!) Umm... yeah. What extreme machine to beat RYO?

Ryo seems to run the first Japan event, a time attack at around 45 seconds. You need a car that can beat this time. This is probably the most difficult grip event with Ryo. A stage 3 Zonda can do this. The next 3 fastest stage 3 cars are close to each other in lap times, the Ford GT, 911 Turbo, and ...

Re: Better car at drifting?

Stage 3 or stage 4 RX7 with stock tires, suspension and brakes will get a lot of drift points. Use the handbrake (version 1.0) or regular brakes (version 1.1) to continue to get drift points while sliding in a nearly straight line, especially when approaching the finish line. There are times when yo...

Re: Help me to unlock Nate Denver and Karol Monroe

For speed mode, a stage 3 911 turbo with stock suspension (and brakes, don't use them), but all other parts stage 3 can run Nevada C flat out, without going airborne, in about 3 minutes. This is the best speed car. For drag mode, the Camaro SS is the fastest on a PC, if you program a button to launc...

Uninstall and re-install NFS Carbon. Some of the savegames come with a regitry editor (.reg) file that changes the cd-key in your systems registry. You have to re-install to get the original one back, or edit the .REG file to match your cd-key.

You guys mis-understood the original post. He want the traffic cars to include the cars you can get in career mode, not the other way around. There's a web stie called cheat engine that has all the car codes. You'll need to use cheat engine (do a web search) which is a generic trainer, to modify mem...

You have to use a hex / binary editor on "gameplay.bin", and zero out the first letter of every traffic car in the game.

You can never budge the heli, so if you can't go around it, then back up right away to avoid getting busted. Eventually the heli will leave.

The most unusual thing I saw was a civilian car on top of a police SUV in a road block.
