try binding nos to a different button. Its a lmitation on how keyboard operate, there are about 12 "pathways" on the circuit board with a bunch of keys on each path, it can only deal with a set number of keys on each "path" being pressed at one time before it wont accept any more...

i asked for torque on the tranny ... lol, horsepower isnt really what "Breaks" a transmission. I hear the synchros on them are pretty much garbage and need to be beefed up though, even stock you can eat them alive due to all the traction.

essentially yes, they share something like 80% of internals and stuff, if you ever hear of a "DSM" car, (its a dallas factory thats shut down now i beleive) its referring to the cars that were made there, AWD eclipses, talons, etc. Fairly unique breed.

lol, yeah they improve handling, somewhat rediculous though, REAL bodykits in REAL life dont generally imrove aerodynamics, and they are the same weight (relativley) of stock parts, if not a bit heavier (only gains are in removing the bumper material, which is illegal, and unsafe.) Lots of cars also...

is it similar to the eclipse... lol.... DSM car ^_^ Nice talon, i was debating getting one instead of my 'stang, for the killer launches you get in them with the AWD. Your certainly attacking the problem the way you should be, that car needs more power to go faster, especially judging by your low tr...

yeah it took me a while to get over the fox body looks as well... at heart i'm just a tuner though, and its much more worthwhile to tune a fox 'stang then a slowmaro ^_^
I like your thoughts though, they make sense and are well thought out ^_^

the '04 mustangs are about .10 faster then the new GTO's, i'm not sure how this compares to the new mustangs through, which run approx the same times, due to a bit more power, but a bit more weight. My favorite muscle car has got to be an 89 mustang LX (no body kit) 5.0. Oh and for whoever said the ...

I do the occasional donut in a parking lot, drift around snowy corners in my mustang (carefully, i work up to it slowly and get to know the corner) and handbrake around in a FWD Acura, i've been known to head out to an empty highway with random shiznit kids and smoking them out there, I no longer dr...

there are X amount of outruns per "level" ... the levels are divided up by whenever you finish a sponsor's contract. do all the outruns, and then finish a contract, more outruns, finish those, do the next contract. this makes sure you get all the uniques.

generally i always set it for the highest RPM (power). you might get a little low end accelleration, but having high end power helps when you are spinning the tires and want to keep spinning. For drift, set your rear tire grip to the least possible setting, you can also experiment setting the rear s...

with the traction circle, an expansion on the same idea is to have 2 circles on the same "crosshairs" , one circle represents the traction "budget" for the front tires, the other circle for the rear tires. you can adjust these circles with the tools provided.

Really dragon? Cuz to me tuned vs. untuned is like night and day for handling. To me the ECU/Turbo is whats there to just impress us.... the only thing worth doing there is putting every last ounce of power as high as you can put it, on launch (manual) i launch in the middle of the power band, and n...

Set all your suspension to Hardest settings.
Lower all the way

Noone really knows why the S2000 is gone, my personal theory is that they literally had too much data to meet their manufacturing guidelines (2 CD's im guessing or something) ... those 2 CD's are pretty full up... it might explain why the full game looks worse then the demo as well

actually Korge its a fairly common programming technique to have the AI side of a game "cheat" (Be able to accellerate and travel faster then it should be able to for example) This is done so that the basic AI can travel "slower" and be stupider... makes it easier to run the game...

JMAC has a fairly good setup there, i dont recommend putting the suspension ALL The way (have a few mm of red showing to the max settings for springs and shocks) ... it makes it a little more forgiving (easier to get control of it again)
Generally i have my gearing set for huge amounts of accel.

Personally i'm a fan of big motor cars. I drive a '92 5.0 mustang, which in my opinion is one of the most readily tuneable cars available. Stock it comes with approx 205 horsepower (flywheel) 300 ft/lb of torque... with Heads/Cam/Exhaust (and a few other minor parts) it can get over 350 RWHP mark ea...

i haent seen the option to turn catchup off in regular play, i beleive it only effects quick races. Easy seems to turn it off... well not really, but its much much harder to notice, but they race very slowly on easy, so it sucks anyways. EA! just make them race fast, midline racing lines, no catchup...

I'm mostly a single player buff, lag really bothers me, but I find that if I dont just crash through the corners the AI will take the corner at top speed anyways, and I lose alot of time in the corner, (unless i'm in say a level 2 miata, where I dont have to slow down) And in the longer races it jus...
