How about band-inspired car challenge? You make a car inspired by a band or musician (write the name of the car in simple text on the screenshot). Obviously it works better if the band or musician have a theme to them eg a 'KISS' inspired car would be obvious (black and white), whereas it would be hard to make a 'Beatles' inspired car.

i think we should have a fire car challenge. My dad is a firefighter, sheriff and a former paramedic. It would really mean a lot to me if we had a Fire Car Challenge

Can we please stop doing these ugly challenges? I don't have the feeling the Carmageddon challenge is about the most beautiful car, but more the most spikey car. Why not do really design contests with a theme, like:

Boulevard challenge: make a really beautiful car that you could picture driving on the boulevard in Florida. Use bright, sunny colors, neons, etc.

Same style, different car challenge: pick a combination of two cars (these combo's are preselected) and make both cars, but each with the exact same body, vinyls etc.

I'll think of some more things soon

edit: more ideas:

Mafia Challenge: Make a car that would be the ultimate Mafia gang car (that all mafia's would drive, not the boss!) Cars allowed: all except the 2-doors cars. Remember: the mob rolls with style!

CF challenge: make the best car with a carbon hood and spoiler

Ferrari challenge: make a coupe that could whip Ferrari's ass in style as well in performance. That means: only coupe sportscars (3000GT, 350Z etc.) and NO vinyls!

BTW: if any of these challenges has been mentioned before, that could be, I haven't read the whole topic

Boulevard challenge sounds nice. mafia would be too easy to make...so as Ferrari challenge.

thats a good idea. i thought of a Pace car challenge back on like pg 31 and there was some other people thought that it was a good idea. and i have a pretty close replica to the GT4 skyline pace car. but yours idea is nice too. and id really like to see either of these ideas made into challenges.

hey, and when wil you use my idea for the non graphic cards???? always is the same with the challenges, if you want to prove it build a car with my requerimetd and enter in a duel with someone with a good graphic card, then you will know the feeling of the injustice and false elitism...
