NFS Most Wanted
Don't tell me you're going to be one of those persons who will use the slow-mo...but I do agree, whoever is driving suck big time. Also, notice in the second one, the BMW hits the police cars and damage the police cars, and the police doesn't do anything.
Also, http://media.xbox.gamespy.com/media/740 ... ids_1.html has 2 of the older vids but you can download high-res for free.

No, but I'd like to see it being used, after all, it's a demo and the purpose of it is to show off the game, but gamespot's demo didn't even have sound.2furio wrote:Don't tell me you're going to be one of those persons who will use the slow-mo...but I do agree, whoever is driving suck big time. Hmm, on the video descirption of the Drag videos on GameSpot, they wrote this:
And looking at the video again, I watched as the BMW hit the logs truck with full force, I don't see any smoe or damage coming from the engine... IMO, HP2 was better in damage...
Are they disliking the Hot Pursuit feature in NFSMW? The sirens aren't even switched on for crying out loud. What fun is an illegal drag race if you get caught?

The city in NFSU2 is as dead as it gets. I think adding pedestians would make a huge impact on this! And, it would make you think twice before going too fast into a corner, so you don't accidently run people over on the sidewalks.Corolla GTS wrote:U2's city was only dead in the mountany, thin roads.baadmw wrote:the video shows a lot of trafficthats fun, seems that we are getting a living city instead of a dead one, like in U2
Speaking of sidewalks, who here thinks the rims and tires should be seriously damaged when hitting the curbs? Raise your hands!
I think the rims should get big ugly cuts in them after close encounters with curbs, therefore lowering your overall status or visual rating of your damaged car. And the tires should be torn into pieces so you'd have to get new tires for a high price. More realism! Yay!
*edit*
"Real" automatic transmission! I want to see auto trannys change gears like a REAL transmission. For the moment, it changes gears when reaching the redline. WTF? Can't they think of a system which will make auto trannys work like in real-life? I wanna cruise with auto tranny sometimes, but it's just reving high. The only way to cruise at 2000 rpm is by using manual, it's always been like this! Bring us real working auto trannys!

I will raise my hand to that, it'll be a great feature! But I doubt EA will go as detailed as that... Even their previous NFS series don't have that function, and I think they'll stick with that.O wrote:Speaking of sidewalks, who here thinks the rims and tires should be seriously damaged when hitting the curbs? There's a new video online. It shows some views from the city and the BMW + RX-8

well the automatic tranny feature is just there for people who don't like the shift themselves so the computer shifts for you.O wrote:The city in NFSU2 is as dead as it gets. what i'm trying to say is all those cars have manuals, just the computer shifts it while you worry about everything else.
auto transmissions do rev up to the red line, when u push the throttle down... but u probably meant that the automatic transmissions aren't as smart in-game as IRL... i think it's cool to cruise at low RPM's but i dont think that the game makers care, they just think were going 250mph all the time....
