I'm definately gonna buy this one, I've only played the demo through once as it likes to crash my computer quite a lot, but it's a demo.

You will want to check on graphical updates from their Bid/Fix list(if they have one).

The game wont come out till 2 months anyways.

the thing I am terrible with horror things... but then again... I want to know how this game is... the flash thing was well not super scary but weird vibe.... and pulled me into the game... now I want to know how it ends...so most likely it will be in my collection.

just played the demo for a while.. looks really good... but the game crashed 2 times... had to reboot cause of that...

have to say after BF2 this with this game my comp has met his match.. I can't smoothly run this game with the options I want even on 800x600
in BF2 I could not set it to max at the medium and large maps.. small maps was ok (but am not going to switch gfx modes each time...)

this game... with the darker light effects and extra stuff like bulletholes and stuff like that... the game isn't running super smooth...

did not get really far (till the game crashed 2nd time) came till save stage 2) but the only irritating part was the start where you already see the girl.. the rest is just shooting guys down... (atleast till where I was...) did not see the girl again... but the music in combo with sudden things does not make it a pleasure in the dark.... (am behind the comp with only a small desk light... and it is PITCH black outside...

Did you just run and gun through the demo or what? I can't imagine anyone not beign frightened at certain parts in the demo.

stereo try to play it at night with only a desklight and use a headset instead of the speakers so you can hear everything and from the direction its comming from..... then it is a whole difirent game....

ooh and try to play it tactfull (slowly instead of running around like a chicken with out a head)

what the weirdest thing is... the soldiers don't scare me... those parts are just like a normal shooter... but the parts where your communication device starts to rattle and says Unknown source... and weird things happen then my hart starts to pump several hits a minute faster...

and what is worse... the thing that should not be scary at all... scared me the most...a LITTLE GIRL

OK, I admit. When I first played the game at me friend's, he has some crappy speakers... I have a big one thats as big as my 19" monitor. I didn't play it at night. BUT I was SOOO freeked out I was liek LOLZ OMFG THIS SO SCARE ME!!! I DONT WANNA GET! NOOO ME HAVE HEART ATAK!!! ok and then second time me wanna girl notice me I shots her but she keep walk... this game is scary lolz

My mate actually got his copy yesterday, after pre-ordering it online, it was a suprise to him as he didn't expected to arrive until the 18th.... LUCKY F*****R :p

But for some reason he doesn't want to start playing until he upgrades his graphics, why can't just play the dam game...... even on a shiznit graphics card with low settings, it would be fine...

Some of my friends already have the game (not legally though). At first, when I played the demo, it was alright. I only advanced until the first encounter wit the little kid and then I exited and uninstalled it. The game requires a powerhouse computer and my graphics card is not really up to the challenge but the graphics were alright. I'll probably "borrow" the game once I hear what some of my other friends think of it.

Dont know when its coming out, but i want to play it! Even roosterteeth that makes the all powerful Red vs Blue made a machinima off it! Probably just a big advertisement, BUT WHO CARES! Its kick ass.

Heh, I wish I could.... I wish I could. If only I have 5 gigs, 1 gig of RAM, a P4, and a Radeon 9800. I only have a Radeon 9200! ;0; And, I only have 3 gigs left. I have 128 mb of ram. I fail at life.

I finally received my FEAR copy...the Director's Cut Version. I haven't played the game yet but I have seen some of the bonus features. It has a small "real" (with actors) video which is really creepy and a little bit disturbing. There's also a small funny in-game video. The Mkaing of FEAR is actually fairly good. I'll play it a little bit later, I've got my hands full with other new games I got.
