OMG I'm wondering several things....

Do those video-scenes appear while playing? (I mean when the player's car destroy the cop's barrier and then he makes a donut and enters the other street) O_O

Wow I wanna play it and see an animation of my ride!

They're just pre-made videos that tie into the gameplay experience. Prince of Persia SoT & WW have many like these. No, you WON'T be able to control the car when doing donuts or jumping over the police (in those scenes, no doubt you will be able to do them when racing).

EA has the game practicly finished. they are mostlikely at the test stage, filtering bugs etc. (and removing also good stuff like they did with NFS U1 and U2

)

the chance that they will add more stuff is close to 0!

Trust me you will be able to do such crazy stuff. just read OXM's preview of the demo that i posted in that MW comin NOVember 16th thread.

Apparently you misunderstood me. I said in that race, the jump and the spin-out are videos (not player-controlled) and if you notice the brackets, I said "in those scenes, no doubt you will be able to do them when racing". Does that even mean anything to you?

That was a race 2furio apparently you never read the whole thing. the author played on a demo and clearly used the speedbreaker feature. what makes you think in the video that speedbreaker wasnt used.

That is called marketing strategy.

they want you all to be hyped about the game. and each time they confirm a car their goal is that you want the game even more... and look around.

they announced (if EA did that itself is unknown) the Mercedes SL55 and tada people are all hyped... it simply works

It's all basically TEASERS.. They tease people into buying the game, get it? Stig is sright, this all comes part in marketing strategy.

Wow! That video is great... But one thing, is that how the Drag race ends? The car just stops and a photograph being taken? I thought there'll be like a triumphant thingy. Well, I guess I was wrong... I also noticed something. The cops can come in and out from the locked / un-passable barriers. And yes!! Glad to see the roadblocks being deployed again, missed them, hehe... Now this is fun... But strangely, I didn't see the spikes.. And this particular driver, hmm, seems like he's a good driver, or is it just that the cops just suck the dust out of him? He didn't get busted at all!

And one final thing, the reason why the last time round I didn't see the NOS flame from the BMW is because it's exhaust tip is at the side, and it keeps filming the back of the car. But in this video, you can actually see the NOS flame coming out from the side exhaust, pretty cool!

A great video afterall...

Thanks all of you guys. Anyways, I really want to see the PC DEMO now. NFS-Planet says it comes out 4 weeks before the US release date: 11/16.

Well, Bojan has said it before, I think.. The demo cars will only be limited to the RX-8 and the BMW.

Andre is right. But you know, I have to give you some credit Skyline Man...just maybe it will be like the UNDERGROUND 2 PC DEMO. I hope. And there were some demo downloadable cars too.

Why would you download new cars and play demo whenn you could play demo with cars that are allready in demo and expecting full version! I think that adding new cars in the demo will kill my wishes to play full version!

No, There werent any downloadable cars, those cars were from the demo too but you couldnt play with them.
Some one just messed with the game files to make us play with them.
