you have got to be kidding me....... a bios update wont do crap to your 6600gt lol!
6600gt is a pos it has 128bit bandwidth, yet mine has 256bit bandwidth.
a bios would fix the 6800,6800LE,or 6800gt if your lucky... if your able to unlock your card via rivatuner then u can update your bios ...but why would you? just mod your bios with extravolts at the Ce38 addy in the bios... but i bet you dnot know what im talking about.... well i got to go sell pc's.. bye.

And, um, yeah, that's stock speed ... I know 6600GTs can overclock higher ...
anctually alot of people care including yourself cause you got schooled. and plus you dont even make sense.
How did you "school" me, exactly ?
Card is shipped with an 1120 MHz memory clock speed. With a BIOS update, it bumps the DEFAULT memory speed up to 1200 MHz ... Does that make sense ? I never said anything about overclocking it ...
omg... is money growing on your back? not everybody can just go into a store and buy a new card, and btw the 9600xt is still reasonably good. I've got a 9600 non-pro with 256MB @ 400/200 and I'm able to play MW at 1024x768 so a overclocked 9600xt should be capable of 1280x960 easily! For overclocking I'd recommend the Omega Drivers which are modded to allow overclocking. In this driver package the Ati Tray tools are also included, where you can find a overcloking tool.
yup i know about onega drivers i used it to over clock my 9200 SE from 200mhz core
to264mhz and memory to 223mhz. as i said dont have many cooling options here so just wanted to know if anybody overclocked any video cards lately how far did it go before u got artifacts?
