car too bright to see vinyls and paint etc

i am running the game at low resolution.
when i`m in the shop custumizing the car or looking at it in showcase mode, the reflections on the car are so bright that it makes it impossible to see any colour or vinyls.on second thoughts,since i`m running on low,how is the car even reflecting any light?

Try switching off the Visual Treatment in the Video sub-menu.

i did that.when i mentioned low res i meant low everything...and i even tried putting it all to full.it still dosent look like any screnshots i`ve seen on the net

Maybe your video driver is running too much gamma/brightness - try calibrating your monitor, there's plenty of info about that on the web.

i had even taken some screenshots for u to see.then i alt+tab`ed out of mw to see the screenshots and when i got back to mw the screen was perfect.so i`m just doing alt+tab every time my screen goes haywire.
